Janie Thompson (rugby League)
Janie Thompson (August 20, 1921 – June 1, 2013) was a performer. She was a professor at Brigham Young University and the founding director of the BYU Young Ambassadors and the Living Legends (BYU) performance groups. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) and served as a missionary in Wales. Thompson was born August 20, 1921, to J. Henry Thompson and Lora Harmon. She grew up in Malta, Idaho. She was the oldest of seven children. Thompson's mother was a singer and dancer, until a train accident left her unable to continue dancing. She would think of choreography and have Thompson dance out the steps for her. Her father sang bass. There was one piano in her house growing up, but her family could not afford lessons, so Thompson taught herself to play. She first performed at age 14. Malta, Idaho
Malta is a village in Cassia County, Idaho, United States. The population was 193 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Burley, Idaho Micropolitan Statistical Area. History The settlers in the Malta area in the early 1880s had no central location for mail delivery. The mail was delivered in open boxes. The Condit family secured a permit from the U.S. Post Office Department to open a post office and name the community. The post office was opened in 1883. Apparently it seemed like an island in a wide expanse of sea, so they named it Malta after the island of Malta in the Mediterranean. A website, created as an Eagle Scout project, includes a history on the majority of the people buried at the Valley Vu Cemetery in Malta. Female ( symbol: ♀) is the sex of an organism that produces the large non-motile ova (egg cells), the type of gamete (sex cell) that fuses with the male gamete during sexual reproduction. Joseph Runningfox (born 1955 in Santa Fe, New Mexico) is a Pueblo actor. He was featured in '' Ravenous'' as George (credited as Joseph Running Fox) and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild. Runningfox played Geronimo in a 1993 television movie of the same name. Sally Flynn (born July 23, 1946 in Ontario, Oregon) is an American singer and musician (also known as Sally Hart) who was a featured performer on ''The Lawrence Welk Show'' television program. A Alumnus, graduate of Brigham Young University (BYU), she and BYU classmate Sandi Griffiths joined ''The Lawrence Welk Show'' in 1968 as the singing act of ''Sandi & Salli''. The duo was very popular on the show until late 1972, when Sally left to pursue a solo career on Broadway theatre, Broadway. On December 6, 1974, Flynn married Clay Hart, a Country music, country singer who was on the Welk show from 1969 to 1975, and shortly afterwards they started singing together professionally; often as opening acts for performers such as Red Skelton, Juliet Prowse and Mel Tillis. She was noted for her warmth and fiddle playing. Heather Young (born Patricia Kay Paterson, April 1, 1945) is an American former actress who is best known for playing the character Betty Hamilton on the television series ''Land of the Giants''. Life and career Young was born in Bremerton, Washington. She began her entertainment career as a singer at Disneyland. In 1967, she had a number of small roles in shows such as the ''Batman'' television series and the courtroom series ''Judd for the Defense''.
