Jane Doyle
Jane Doyle (born 9 February 1958) is a retired Australian television presenter who was best known for presenting ''Seven News'' in Adelaide between 1989 and 2022, having joined the Seven Network from ABC TV. Early career Doyle began as a school teacher before moving in journalism in far-north Queensland. In 1981, she and her husband, fellow journalist Ian Doyle, moved to regional South Australia where she held a number of positions with ABC Local Radio and local newspapers. ABC News After arriving in Adelaide she returned to print as Adelaide editor of ''TV Week'' before again joining the ABC as a news reader. In 1988, after a year as substitute presenter for ABC TV's ABC News Adelaide, she became the main presenter of the 7pm bulletin. Rosanna Mangiarelli (born 1974) is an Australian television presenter. She is best known for anchoring ''Seven News'' bulletins on Channel 7 in Adelaide and for hosting the South Australian edition of ''Today Tonight'' for 12 years. In December 2022, it was announced that Mangiarelli and Will Goodings would succeed Jane Doyle following her retirement to anchor Adelaide's weeknight ''Seven News'' bulletins in 2023. Career Early career After completing a journalism degree at the University of South Australia, she joined Central GTS/BKN in Port Pirie in 1997. Will Goodings
Will Goodings (born 1983) is an Australian television and radio presenter. He is best known for co-hosting the FIVEaa breakfast show with David Penberthy and for anchoring '' Seven News Adelaide'' bulletins alongside Rosanna Mangiarelli on Channel 7. Radio Goodings commenced working at FIVEaa in 2007. He was appointed as the host of the station's afternoon program in December 2013. Goodings hosted the afternoon show until September when he was announced as the new co-host of the FIVEaa breakfast show, replacing Mark Aiston who moved to a weekend lifestyle program. Jeremy Cordeaux replaced Goodings on the afternoon program. Since Goodings joined Penberthy on the breakfast show, the program has continued to consistently rate well and the duo have routinely been nominated as the Best On-Air Team (Metro AM) at the annual Australian Commercial Radio Awards. Adelaide Christmas Pageant
The National Pharmacies Christmas Pageant is a parade held annually in the South Australian capital of Adelaide. Established in 1933, the event is staged annually on the second Saturday of November, typically from 9.30am except 2020 and 2021 where it was broadcast at 7:00pm. It comprises a procession of 85 sets and 1,700 volunteers, including some 63 floats, 15 bands, 164 clowns, dancing groups, and walking performers, all culminating in the arrival of Father Christmas. The pageant is officially recognised as a "heritage icon" by the National Trust of Australia, and a "state institution" by the Government of South Australia. The pageant has been owned by the South Australian Government since 1996, and National Pharmacies has been the naming rights sponsor since 2019.
