Jan Močnik
Jan Močnik (born 27 March 1987) is a Slovenian professional basketball player. Professional career Močnik grew up in Nova Gorica, where he played for local team Nova Gorica in second national league of Slovenia. He left Nova Gorica as loaned player in Kraški zidar in season 2003 and stayed there 3 years. Then he returned to Nova Gorica. Union Olimpija In season 2007/08 he sign with Slovenian League, Adriatic League and Euroleague club Union Olimpija for a 3 year contract. During the season 2007/08 winning the Slovenian League championship and cup with them. In Euroleague averaged 1.1 and 0.7 rebounds and also 1.3 assists in 11 games. His statistics in the Adriatic League were arguably more impressive, considering that he played 9 minutes per game in that competition in 20 games; he averaged 2.4 points and 0.2 rebounds. Guard (basketball)
In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Basketball Championship Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina is the top–tier men's professional basketball league in Bosnia and Herzegovina for men and women, respectively. The league is operated by the Basketball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Competition format The league is composed of 12 teams, each playing against the other eleven two times, home and away. After this portion concludes, the top six clubs are joined by the country's representatives in the Adriatic League, and enter "League 6". Adriatic League
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021.
