Jan Inge Hovig
Jan Inge Hovig (11 May 1920 – 4 July 1977) was a Norwegian architect. Hovig was born at Verran in Nord-Trøndelag, Norway. He was the son of Johannes Sigurd Hovig (1895-1953) and Gudlaug Pauline Taugstad (1900-1969). Hovig finished his studies at the Norwegian Institute of Technology in 1946. He was city architect during the reconstruction of Narvik 1947–1950. Narvik had been devastated in battle during 1940 as part of the Norwegian Campaign of the German invasion of Norway. In 1950 he moved to Oslo and founded his own office. In 1956 Hovig entered into a partnership with Christian Norberg-Schulz. From 1972 Hovig entered into a partnership with Helge B. Kvernes in Porsgrunn. Hovig represented Norway at the Architecture Exhibition during the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. Tromsøysund
Tromsøysund is a former municipality in Troms county in Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1964. The municipality encompassed most of what is now Tromsø Municipality including areas on the island of Kvaløya and on the mainland. It completely surrounded the city of Tromsø, both on a number of islands as well as on the mainland. The municipality included the villages of Bjerkaker, Tromsdalen, and Movik. Fredskapellet
Fredskapellet ( no, Fredskapellet) is a chapel of the Church of Norway in Narvik Municipality in Nordland county, Norway. It is located in the town of Narvik. It is an annex chapel in the Narvik parish which is part of the Ofoten prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Sør-Hålogaland. The brick chapel was built in a long church style in 1957 using plans drawn up by the architect Jan Inge Hovig. The chapel seats about 250 people. History The first chapel built on this site was completed in 1939 and it was consecrated on 23 March 1939. The chapel was destroyed during World War II in April 1940, about a year after it was completed. The chapel was rebuilt after the war and it was consecrated on 14 December 1957 by the Bishop Wollert Krohn-Hansen. The chapel is located next to the main cemetery for the town of Narvik and therefore the chapel is mostly used for funerals. Vestre Gravlund is a cemetery in the Frogner borough of Oslo, Norway. It is located next to the Borgen metro station. At , it is the largest cemetery in Norway. It was inaugurated in September 1902 and also contains a crematorium (''Vestre krematorium'') and chapel (''Gravkapellet''). The grave chapel was constructed in granite and clay stone and was designed by architect Alfred Christian Dahl (1857–1940). It was built in 1900 and consecrated in 1902. Myocardial Infarction
A myocardial infarction (MI), commonly known as a heart attack, occurs when blood flow decreases or stops to the coronary artery of the heart, causing damage to the heart muscle. The most common symptom is chest pain or discomfort which may travel into the shoulder, arm, back, neck or jaw. Often it occurs in the center or left side of the chest and lasts for more than a few minutes. The discomfort may occasionally feel like heartburn. Other symptoms may include shortness of breath, nausea, feeling faint, a cold sweat or feeling tired. About 30% of people have atypical symptoms. Women more often present without chest pain and instead have neck pain, arm pain or feel tired. Among those over 75 years old, about 5% have had an MI with little or no history of symptoms.
