Jamie Harnwell
Jamie Richard Harnwell (born 21 July 1977 in Perth, Western Australia) is a retired Australian football (soccer) player and current coach of Perth NPL club Sorrento FC and the Western Australian state soccer team. He holds the record for most appearances for Perth Glory, with 256 league appearances to his name. Club career Perth Glory Jaime Harnwell joined Perth Glory in 1998 from Western Australia State League side Sorrento FC and quickly joined the starting eighteen. In 2003 Harnwell had a one-month contract with Leyton Orient in Football League Two, which was not extended. He then played a game for Welling United at Southern Football League Premier Division. At the end of the 2003 English football season, Harnwell returned to Perth and rejoined the Perth Glory. Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. National Soccer League
The National Soccer League (NSL) was the top-level soccer league in Australia, run by Soccer Australia and later the Australian Soccer Association. The NSL, the A-League's predecessor, spanned 28 seasons from its inception in 1977 until its demise in 2004, when it was succeeded by the A-League competition run by Football Federation Australia, the successor to the Australian Soccer Association. A-League 2005-06
A-League Men (known as the Isuzu UTE A-League for sponsorship reasons) is the highest-level professional men's soccer league in Australia and New Zealand. At the top of the Australian league system, it is the country's premier men's competition for the sport. A-League Men was established in 2004 as the A-League by the Football Federation Australia (FFA) as a successor to the National Soccer League (NSL) and competition commenced in August 2005. Slobodan "Bobby" Despotovski (born 14 July 1971) is an Australian soccer player who played 12 seasons in the top tier of Australian soccer. He played in National Soccer League (NSL) for Heidelberg United and Morwell Falcons before moving to Perth Glory where he played eight seasons in the NSL and two in the A-League. Early life Despotovski was born in Perth, Western Australia, to a Macedonian father, Cvetko, and mother, Valentina (Saharov). Adrian Webster (born 10 October 1980 in Hastings, New Zealand) is a New Zealand footballer who plays for Cockburn City. He has represented New Zealand at full international level. Biography Webster's family moved to Australia when he was a toddler and he was brought up there. Injuries have been a source of problems for Webster. In 1995, while on trial at Newcastle United, he broke his ankle and was forced to return to Australia, where he finished school and played junior football for MacArthur Rams and Blacktown City. New Zealand Knights Football Club (formed from the Football Kingz Football Club in 2004) were the only professional association football club in New Zealand before they became defunct. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. Ronald Smith (born 5 May 1949) is a former football player and coach. He is a former technical analyst for the Australia national team. Playing career Smith played as a junior for North London team Tottenham Hotspur before injury forced an end to his top flight football ambitions. He then went on to play for a number of non-league teams in England before emigrating to Australia to play for South Melbourne SC in 1974.
