James Stewart Jr.
James Stewart Jr. (born December 21, 1985), also known as Bubba Stewart, is an American former professional motocross racer who competed in the AMA Motocross and the AMA Supercross Championships. Through his years of racing, he earned the nickname "The Fastest Man on The Planet". Stewart is second in all time 450 Supercross wins (50), and second all time in AMA outdoor national wins (48). He also developed the "Bubba Scrub" or just "scrub", which became a fundamental skill needed to compete in motocross. He was the first to host his own television show, ''Bubba's World''. He brought in endorsement deals paying him over $10M a year throughout his career. He has the record for best rookie season, having won 10/12 Motocross races in 2002. Bartow, Florida
Bartow ( ) is the county seat of Polk County, Florida, United States. Founded in 1851 as Fort Blount, the city was renamed in honor of Francis S. Bartow, the first brigade commander of the Confederate Army to die in combat during the American Civil War. The scaphoid bone is one of the carpal bones of the wrist. It is situated between the hand and forearm on the thumb side of the wrist (also called the lateral or radial side). It forms the radial border of the carpal tunnel. The scaphoid bone is the largest bone of the proximal row of wrist bones, its long axis being from above downward, lateralward, and forward. Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) is an American professional stock car racing organization owned and operated by former Washington Redskins (today the Washington Commanders) coach Joe Gibbs, which first started racing on the NASCAR circuit in 1991. His son, J. D. Gibbs, ran the team with him until his death in 2019. Therapeutic Use Exemption
A therapeutic use exemption (TUE), also known as a temporary use exemption, is a term created in 1991 and refers to an official medical document. The document gives an athlete permission to take a medication listed on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA) Prohibited List, normally prohibited because its use would be considered a performance enhancing drug. In 2017, the ''Australian and New Zealand Sports Law Journal'' referred to the abuse of TUEs as “The Legal Dope”. An example of a TUE is the World Anti-Doping Agency's exemption for testosterone replacement therapy. The average for a normal functioning male is a 1:1 ratio, but WADA allows up to a 4:1 ratio without testing positive for elevated testosterone. Mixed martial arts do not have as stringent anti-doping regulations as most other sports. Ken Roczen (born 29 April 1994 in Mattstedt, Germany) is a German professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2009 to 2011 and the AMA Supercross Championships since 2011. Monster Energy Cup (Supercross)
The Monster Energy Cup is an exhibition race hosted by the AMA Supercross Championship that takes place in the Fall. The event started in 2011 and has been held at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas every year since. A US $1 million purse is available to any rider who is able to win all three featured races. Format The Monster Energy Cup consists of three 10-lap Main Events for riders of 450cc 4-stroke motorcycles; the same 22 riders compete in all three events. The event uses Olympic-style scoring, so the rider who gets the lowest overall score (a 1+1+1=3 being a perfect score for winning all three Main Events) is declared the winner.
