James Southerland
James Southerland III (born April 28, 1990) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the Wellington Saints of the New Zealand National Basketball League (NBL). He played college basketball for Syracuse. High school career Southerland played for Coach Ron Naclerio at Cardozo High School. He participated in the 2006 Reebok ABCD Camp (N.J.). As a junior, he averaged 17.6 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists for Cardozo. Southerland helped the squad to a 22–5 record. For 2008–09, he moved to Notre Dame Prep. He was rated 87th among the Class of 2009 small forwards by Scouts Inc. College career Over his four-year career, Southerland averaged 7.9 points and 3.3 rebounds while shooting .449 from the field and .370 from three-point range in 112 games. The are a Japanese professional basketball team. Following the team's establishment in 2010, they participated in the Eastern Conference of the bj league for five seasons and in 2013 became the first team based in the Kanto region of Japan to win the league's championship. 2013 Big East Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2013 Big East men's basketball tournament, officially known as the 2013 Big East Championship, was the 34th annual Big East men's basketball tournament, deciding the champion of the 2012–13 Big East Conference men's basketball season. For the 31st consecutive season, the tournament was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City, from March 12–16, 2013. The tournament only featured 14 teams due to Connecticut being given a one-year postseason ban due to APR penalties. This would have been the last year with as many as 16 teams participating in the Big East tournament, but Connecticut was ineligible and West Virginia moved to the Big 12 before the beginning of the season. ABCD Camp
The ABCD Basketball Camp was a youth basketball camp founded by Sonny Vaccaro that was held from 1984 to 2006. The camp gathered the highest ranked high school players of the United States, and was considered one of the top events of high school basketball. Ron Naclerio is an author and all time winningest coach for the PSAL league. He coaches at Benjamin Cardozo High School. Early life Naclerio was born in 1958. His father Emil Naclerio was a thoracic surgeon. Naclerio played baseball at St. John’s University and later spent three years in the Chicago White Sox system. This included the Gulf Coast League White Sox. Coaching Naclerio started coaching in 1981. After years as an assistant under Al Matican. In his first season he went 1-21. The second year he went 21-4. By 2011 he had reached 600 wins and eventually broke the record of wins by a PSAL coach when he reached 723 passing Chuck Granby. Eventually he reached 748 wins and counting. During this time he won two city titles. NBA D-League
The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. Wellington Saints
The Wellington Saints are a New Zealand basketball team based in Wellington. The Saints compete in the National Basketball League (NBL) and play their home games at TSB Bank Arena. Team history The Wellington Saints were founded in 1981. In 1982, the Exchequer Saints won the second division title, which promoted them to the first division for the 1983 season.
