James Hurrell
James Hurrell (born 7 July 1984) is an English darts player. Career BDO Hurrell reached the Last 32 of the 2015 World Masters, he played Martin Phillips and lost 3–2 in sets. He qualified for the 2016 BDO World Darts Championship and was beaten by Larry Butler in the preliminary round, During 2016 he hit a 9 dart finish against Daniel Day. He qualified for the 2018 BDO World Darts Championship but withdrew before the tournament started. Despite the Pandemic causing obvious delays. Hurrell has comeback well and is currently world number 1 in the World Darts Federation world rankings. He has won the Isle of Man Classic beating young prospect Luke Littler. He has also reached the final of the Welsh Open (Darts) losing to Cameron Menzies in October 2021 and the Italian Masters losing to Richard Veenstra. Larry Thomas Butler (born July 21, 1957), nicknamed The Bald Eagle, is an American professional darts player who was the winner of the 1994 PDC World Matchplay Darts Championship. This success made him the first and so far only American player to have won a major darts tournament in Europe. Butler also had some success in his home country, winning the 1993, 1994, 1995 New York Open, the 1994 Darts America Championship, the 1991, 1992, 1993 World Bullshooter Championship, and the 1991, 1992, 1994, 1995 Cincinnati Spring Fling Open. Mark McGeeney (born 28 June 1972) is an English professional darts player from Coventry, Warwickshire. He currently plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. The Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) is a professional darts organisation in the United Kingdom, established in 1992 when a group of leading players split from the British Darts Organisation (BDO) to form what was initially called the World Darts Council (WDC). Cameron Menzies
Cameron Menzies (born 27 June 1989) is a Scottish darts player who plays in events of the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). Career BDO Menzies first played darts on the BDO circuit in 2006, playing in the Gibraltar Open. However, he did not emerge to prominence until 2016 where he won the British Open. He played in the 2016 World Masters but lost to Irish darts player John O'Shea in the last 80. Welsh Open (Darts)
The Welsh Open is a darts tournament organised by the World Darts Federation and affiliated with the British Darts Organisation which has been staged annually since 1974. In 2008 the tournament was televised in the United Kingdom for the first time on Setanta Sports as part of the BDO's new Grand Prix (darts), Grand Prix series. Luke Littler (born 21 January 2007) is an English professional darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He is the current PDC World Youth Champion, and the current Bahrain Masters Champion, and is the youngest player to have won a match in the WDF World Darts Championship, and PDC World Darts Championship.
