James Atkinson (footballer)
James Atkinson (born 6 January 1995) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Workington AFC. Atkinson has previously played for Queen of the South, Annan Athletic and Gretna 2008. Career Born in Carlisle, Cumbria, Atkinson started his career at Queen of the South. Atkinson was first included in a match-day squad on 23 July 2011, remaining an unused substitute as the team lost 2–0 after extra time at Somerset Park versus Ayr United in the first round of the Scottish Challenge Cup. Atkinson was also an unused substitute in 18 Division One matches that season, a campaign which ended in relegation to Division Two. Atkinson was also on the substitute's bench when Queens won the 2013 Scottish Challenge Cup Final against Partick Thistle on 7 April 2013. Carlisle, Cumbria
Carlisle ( , ; from xcb, Caer Luel) is a city that lies within the Northern English county of Cumbria, south of the Scottish border at the confluence of the rivers Eden, Caldew and Petteril. It is the administrative centre of the City of Carlisle district which, (along with Cumbria County Council) will be replaced by Cumberland Council in April 2023. Coatbridge
Coatbridge ( sco, Cotbrig or Coatbrig, gd, Drochaid a' Chòta) is a town in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, about east of Glasgow city centre, set in the central Lowlands. Along with neighbouring town Airdrie, Coatbridge forms the area known as the Monklands (population approximately 90,000 including outlying settlements), often considered to be part of the Greater Glasgow urban area – although officially they have not been included in population figures since 2016 due to small gaps between the Monklands and Glasgow built-up areas. Ryan Conroy
Ryan Conroy (born 28 April 1987) is a Scottish professional footballer who plays as a left-winger for Peterhead. He can also play as a left-back. Martin Callie Boyle (born 25 April 1993) is a professional footballer who plays for Hibernian in the Scottish Premiership. Born in Scotland, he represents the Australia national team. Palmerston Park
Palmerston Park is a football stadium on Terregles Street in Dumfries, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It is the home ground of Scottish League One club Queen of the South, who have played there since 1919. South of Scotland League club Heston Rovers have shared Palmerston since 2013. The stadium has a capacity of of which 3,377 are seats. History Palmerston Park was first opened in 1919, when Queen of the South were formed, although football had been played at the site since the 1870s.
