Jamar Dixon
Jamar Dixon (born June 5, 1989) is a retired Canadian professional soccer player. He currently serves as Manager of Football and Player Development for Canadian Premier League club Pacific FC. Club career Sweden Dixon began his professional career in Sweden, joining BW 90 IF in Sweden's fourth tier. He scored a goal in his first match with the club. Finland Dixon left Sweden and joined Finnish side TP-47 in early 2014. He would later make the jump to fellow Finnish team JIPPO on September 1, 2014. Dixon signed with top flight outfit FF Jaro after a successful trial on January 26, 2015. He made his debut on February 7 in the Finnish Cup. Dixon made his league debut for Jaro against IFK Mariehamn on April 12 in a 1–1 draw. Dixon scored his first Veikkausliiga goal on May 17 in a 3–2 loss against HIFK Fotboll. 2015 Veikkausliiga
The 2015 Veikkausliiga was the 85th season of top-tier football in Finland. HJK Helsinki were the defending champions. The season was won by SJK, ending HJK's record streak of six straight titles. Teams TPS were relegated to Ykkönen after finishing at the bottom of the 2014 season. Their place was taken by Ykkönen champions HIFK. FC Honka and MYPA were not given a license due to the clubs' bad economic situation. The two places were given for KTP, the runner-up of 2014 Ykkönen, and Ilves, which finished third in Ykkönen. 2022 Canadian Premier League Season
The 2022 Canadian Premier League season is the fourth season of the Canadian Premier League, the top level of Canadian soccer. Pacific FC are the defending champions, having beaten Forge FC in the 2021 final. The regular season ran from April 7 to October 9, 2022. Each team played four games against each of the seven opponents for a total of 28 matches. Atlético Ottawa won the regular season championship on October 8, securing the club its first trophy. 2021 Canadian Premier League Season
The 2021 Canadian Premier League season was the third season of the Canadian Premier League, the top level of Canadian soccer. Forge FC were defending champions, after defeating HFX Wanderers FC in the 2020 final. The season was planned to commence on May 22, the Victoria Day weekend, pending the approval of government authorities and the state of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada. However, on May 14, it was announced that the start was to be pushed back to mid-June or early July. On June 5, the league committed to a full 28-match season, but that the season would begin in a single-site bubble at IG Field in Winnipeg, Manitoba, promoted as "The Kickoff", with each team playing eight matches between June 26 and July 24. HFX Wanderers Football Club, commonly known as HFX Wanderers, and spoken as Halifax Wanderers, is a Canadian professional Association football, soccer club in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
