Jamal James
Jamal James (born July 27, 1988) is an American professional boxer who held the WBA (Regular) welterweight title from 2020 to 2021. Amateur career As an amateur James represented Circle of Discipline boxing club in Minneapolis. In his final year as an amateur (2009), he was runner-up in two national tournaments: the National Golden Gloves and the Police Athletic League (PAL). James would have more than 150 fights as an amateur. Professional career James vs. Danforth James made his professional debut with a third-round technical knockout (TKO) win against Justin Danforth in May 2010. Between September 2015 and December 2017 he fought six times, against opponents with a combined record of 138–13–2, winning five times. Welterweight
Welterweight is a weight class in combat sports. Originally the term "welterweight" was used only in boxing, but other combat sports like Muay Thai, taekwondo, and mixed martial arts also use it for their own weight division system to classify the opponents. In most sports that use it, welterweight is heavier than lightweight but lighter than middleweight. Javier Molina
Javier Molina Casillas (born January 2, 1990) is an American professional boxer. As an amateur, he won the 2007 U.S. National Championships at the age of 17 and represented the United States the following year at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Wale Omotoso (born May 6, 1985) is a Nigerian professional boxer. He was based in Australia for several years, where he turned professional. In 2011, he signed with Top Rank, and was trained and managed by Freddie Roach at Wild Card Boxing in Los Angeles, California. Yordenis Ugás Hernández (born 14 July 1986) is a Cuban professional boxer. He held the WBA (Super) welterweight title from 2021 to April 2022, having previously held the WBA (Regular) title from 2020 until being elevated to Super champion. Diego Gabriel Chaves (born 7 April 1986) is an Argentine professional boxer who held the WBA interim welterweight title from 2012 to 2013. Early life Diego Chaves was born on 7 April 1986, in San Miguel, Argentina. Chaves had a stint as a football player in the junior divisions of Argentine club Velez Sársfield before dedicating his life to boxing. Minneapolis Armory
The Minneapolis Armory is a historic event center and former National Guard armory located in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Built by the Public Works Administration in 1936, the building was occupied by several Army and Naval Militia units of the Minnesota National Guard from its opening until 1985.
