Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan
Jamaat-e-Islami (JI; Urdu: , "Islamic Congress"), or Jamaat as it is simply known, is an Islamist political party which is based in Pakistan and it is the Pakistani successor to Jamaat-e-Islami, which was founded in colonial India in 1941. Its objective is the transformation of Pakistan into an Islamic state, governed by Sharia law, through a gradual legal, and political process. JI strongly opposes capitalism, communism, liberalism, and secularism as well as economic practices such as offering bank interest. JI is a vanguard party: its members form an ''elite'' with "affiliates" and then "sympathizers" beneath them. The party leader is called an '' ameer''. Although it does not have a large popular following, the party is quite influential and considered one of the major Islamic movements in Pakistan, along with Deobandi and Barelvi (represented by Jamiat Ulema-e Islam and Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan respectively). Jamaat-e-Islami
Jamaat-e-Islami ( ur, ) () is an Islamic movement founded in 1941 in British India by the Islamic theologian and socio-political philosopher, Syed Abul Ala Maududi.van der Veer P. and Munshi S. (eds.''Media, War, and Terrorism: Responses from the Middle East and Asia''.Psychology Press, 2004, p. 138. . Along with the Muslim Brotherhood, founded in 1928, Jamaat-e-Islami was one of the original and most influential Islamist organisations, and the first of its kind to develop an ideology based on the modern revolutionary conception of Islam. This movement still has a significant legacy. The group split into separate independent organisations in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh following the Partition of India in 1947. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami
Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami ( bn, বাংলাদেশ জামায়াতে ইসলামী, Bānglādēsh Jāmāyatē Islāmī, Bangladesh Islamic Assembly), previously known as Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, or Jamaat for short, was the largest Islamist political party in Bangladesh. On 1 August 2013, the Bangladesh Supreme Court cancelled the registration of the Jamaat-e-Islami, ruling that the party is unfit to contest national elections. Its predecessor, the party (Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan), strongly opposed the independence of Bangladesh and break-up of Pakistan. In 1971, paramilitary forces associated with the party collaborated with the Pakistan Army in mass killings of Bengladeshi nationalists and pro-intellectuals. Shabab-e-Milli Pakistan ( ur, شبابِ ملی پاکستان is a youth wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami political party of Pakistan. It was formed In 1994 by Jamaat-e-Islami to disown its previous youth group Pasban. It was expected to replace the much active Pasban, but it remained as a passive youth wing of Jamaat-e-Islami. Its headquarters are located at Mansoorah, Lahore. The main issues raised by Shabab e Milli are day to day problems of the common man, Islamic and Pakistani values, and corruption. It raise voice on human rights violations in society off and on, but its main function seems to organize Jamaat-e-Islami’s, big programs and to give boost to campaigns. National Labour Federation (Pakistan)
The National Labour Federation (NLF) is national trade union centre in Pakistan. The trade union is the labour wing of the Jamaat-e-Islami party and organises workers in various sectors, including telecommunications, shipyards, transport and manufacturing. It is the third-largest trade union in Pakistan and is not affiliated with any international labour organisations. History The trade union was formed on November 9, 1969, by Abul A'la Maududi to promote Islamism among workers in Pakistan. Prof. Shafi Malik became NLF's first president and secretary-general and remained on these positions until 2000. In 2003, NLF was registered at the National Industrial Relations Commission. Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba ( ur, ) IJT is the largest student organisation in the world. It was founded by 25 students on 23 December 1947 at Lahore, Pakistan. Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba is working in Pakistan to eliminate the non-Islamic elements and secularism from the curriculum and teachings of the educational institutions of Pakistan. It is a member of the International Islamic Federation of Student Organizations and the World Assembly of Muslim Youth. IJT was influenced mainly by the works of the late Syed Abul-Ala Maududi and Maulana Naeem Siddiqui. It is an Islamic organization whose stated mission is to preach Islam to students of modern institutions throughout Pakistan.
