Wangsa Maju
Wangsa Maju is a township and a constituency in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This area is surrounded by Setapak, Taman Melati and Gombak district in Selangor. Wangsa Maju is one of the largest townships in Kuala Lumpur and consists of many sections — Section 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 and 10. History The present site of Wangsa Maju was previously occupied by Setapak rubber estates named as “Hawthornden” from the 1900s until the 1980s, when the township was formed in 1984. ''Jalan'' ( ur, , lit=Jealousy) is a Pakistani television series premiered on ARY Digital on 17 June 2020. Desa Tun Hussein Onn is the Malaysian Armed Forces residential area in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This special residential area is located near Setiawangsa in the south and Wangsa Maju in the north. It is located beside the Malaysian Ministry of Defence. History The special residential area was formerly part of Hawthornden Estate, which contained rubber plantations on previous mining land. It was developed into a housing estate specifically for the armed forces in 1990. It was named after Tun Hussein Onn, Third Malaysian Prime Minister. The Desa Tun Hussein Onn housing development project built 2,016 units of flats, mostly for officers of lower rank, and this helped in a large way to satisfy the urgent housing requirements for the armed forces at the time. Sri Rampai LRT station is a rapid transit station in northern Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, forming part of the Kelana Jaya Line (formerly known as PUTRA). The station, named after the nearby ''Taman Sri Rampai'' housing estate to the west, is located along the border between Taman Sri Rampai and Wangsa Maju to the east. History While construction of the station started along with the rest of the line in 1996, it was halted in 1997 due to low population in the surrounding area and the cancellation of a housing project nearby. While the rest of the line opened in 1999 with Sri Rampai station listed on transit maps, Sri Rampai was effectively a ghost station with all trains programmed to simply pass through. Setiawangsa is an eastern suburb in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, located less than 4 kilometres from the city centre and located right next to Ampang. Ampang–Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway
Ampang–Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), (Malay: ''Lebuhraya Bertingkat Ampang–Kuala Lumpur''), is the first elevated highway in Malaysia. The elevated highway connects Ampang (Selangor) and Kuala Lumpur. This highway was built to reduce traffic jams at Jalan Ampang and make access to the city more convenient. Motorcycles and other vehicles with two wheels or fewer were banned from using this highway for safety reasons; however, the ban on motorcycles was lifted on 19 June 2008 because of escalating fuel prices.
