Jakub Mareczko
Jakub Mareczko (born 30 April 1994) is an Italian road cyclist of Polish origin, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . A sprinter, Mareczko is seen by the Italian national cycling coach Davide Cassani as one of the best young hopes for Italian cycling. Career Mareczko was born in Poland on 30 April 1994; he moved with his mother to Brescia, Italy, when he was five years old. Southeast Pro Cycling (2015–18) It was announced that Mareczko had signed his first professional contract with the then in July 2014. Racing as an amateur cyclist in the 2013 and 2014 seasons, he won 16 races and came to the attention of Davide Cassani. He was the most successful under-23 rider in Italy in 2014. Jarosław
Jarosław (; uk, Ярослав, Yaroslav, ; yi, יאַרעסלאָוו, Yareslov; german: Jaroslau) is a town in south-eastern Poland, with 38,970 inhabitants, as of 30 June 2014. Situated in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship (since 1999), previously in Przemyśl Voivodeship (1975–1998), it is the capital of Jarosław County. History Jarosław is located in the territory of the old Polish tribe of the Lendians. According to tradition, the town was established in 1031 by Yaroslav the Wise, after the area was annexed from Poland by the Kievan Rus', although the first confirmed mention of the town comes from 1152. The region was eventually regained by Poland, and the settlement was granted Magdeburg town rights by Polish Duke Władysław Opolczyk in 1375. The city quickly developed as an important trade centre and port on the San River, reaching the period of its greatest prosperity in the 16th and 17th centuries. 2015 Tour De Langkawi
The 2015 Tour de Langkawi was the 20th edition of the Tour de Langkawi road cycling stage race. It took place in Malaysia between 8 and 15 March 2015, consisting of eight road stages. The race was rated by the UCI as a 2.HC (hors category) race as part of the 2015 UCI Asia Tour. Teams 22 teams were selected to take part in the race. Four of these were UCI WorldTeams, seven were UCI Professional Continental teams, ten are UCI Continental teams and a Malaysian national team. Route The race was scheduled to include eight stages. The key stage was originally intended to be the seventh stage with a climb to the Genting Highlands, but this was cancelled due to dangerous construction work taking place on the road. A different climb, Fraser's Hill, took its place, since this climb was easier, many teams who had planned their races around the original climb were unhappy. 2016 Giro D'Italia
The 2016 Giro d'Italia was the 99th edition of the Giro d'Italia, one of cycling's Grand Tour races. The Giro started in Apeldoorn on 6 May with a individual time trial, followed by two other stages in the Netherlands, both between Nijmegen and Arnhem. After a rest day, there were 18 further stages to reach the finish on 29 May. These stages were principally in Italy, although two stages partly took place in France. History In 1995 Australian Bill Mitchell, a keen cyclist and professor of economics at the University of Newcastle, created the website titled "Bill’s Cycling Racing Results and News" after finding there was a need for fast-breaking news and race results in English-speaking countries. In 1999 Sydney-based publishing company Knapp Communications purchased the website from Mitchell, and in July 2007 they sold it to British publisher Future plc for £2.2m. In July 2014 it was bought by Immediate Media Company, along with the print-only ''Procycling'' magazine. In February 2019, Immediate Media sold its cycling titles back to Future. Tour Of Taihu Lake
The Tour of Taihu Lake is a stage race (cycling), multi-day road bicycle racing, road cycling race held in China annually in November. It has been held since 2010, but the first edition was a one-day race. The 2010 and 2011 editions were rated 1.2 and 2.2, and was upgraded to 2.1 in 2013. Jakub Mareczko holds the record for most stage wins, with 18, as of the end of the 2018 edition of the race.
