Jakub Kosecki
Jakub Kosecki (; born August 29, 1990) is a Polish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Weszło Warsaw. Career Having been around the world in various youth teams as a child, in March 2009, Kosecki moved to Legia Warsaw. He was loaned out several times at Legia; in July 2010, he was loaned to ŁKS Łódź, and returned to Legia one year later; in 2012 he was loaned to Lechia Gdańsk and in 2015, Kosecki was loaned to SV Sandhausen. After a successful loan spell, on 6 August 2016, he joined Sandhausen permanently on a two-year contract. He returned to Poland when on 22 June 2017 he signed a contract with Śląsk Wrocław. On 24 July 2018 he signed a contract with Turkish side Adana Demirspor, where he reached the promotion play-off finals, with the team losing out to Hatayspor, although he missed the finals themselves due to injury. The 2014–15 Ekstraklasa (currently named T-Mobile Ekstraklasa due to sponsorship reasons), is the 81st season of the highest level of football leagues in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927. It began on 18 July 2014. A total of 16 teams are participating, 14 of which competed in the league during the 2013–14 season, while the remaining two were promoted from the I Liga. Each team played a total of 30 matches, half at home and half away. Legia Warsaw were the defending champions, having won their 10th title last season, but Lech Poznań won their 7th title. The 2013–14 Ekstraklasa (named T-Mobile Ekstraklasa for sponsorship reasons) was the 88th season of the Polish Football Championship, the 80th season of the highest tier domestic division in the Polish football league system since its establishment in 1927 and the 6th season of the Ekstraklasa under its current title. Polish SuperCup
The Polish Super Cup (, ) is an annually held match between the champions of the Ekstraklasa and the Polish Cup winners or, if the Ekstraklasa champions also win the Polish Cup, the Cup's runners-up. As of 2021, the Polish Super Cup has been played 31 times. The most successful club is Lech Poznań, who won 6 times. The most common participant are Legia Warsaw, as they played fourteen final games and have lost their eight following finals since 2012. Unlike in Polish Cup, there is no extra time played in the competition, therefore in case of a draw after regular time match goes straight into a penalty shoot-out. The 2009–10 Ekstraklasa was the 76th season since its establishment as the highest football league of Poland. It began on 31 July 2009 and ended on 15 May 2010. The champions were Lech Poznań. Teams Due to several non-competitive events between last and this season, the team exchange among the two highest football divisions of Poland was only partially determined by the 2008–09 league tables. ŁKS Łódź were denied a license by the Polish FA because of financial issues. ŁKS filed several appeals against this decision, but were eventually left without any success. Roman Jacek Kosecki (born 15 February 1966) is a Polish former professional footballer who played as a striker. Career In his club career, Kosecki played for RKS URSUS, Gwardia Warsaw, Legia Warsaw, Galatasaray, CA Osasuna, Atlético Madrid, Nantes, Montpellier, and the Chicago Fire. Osasuna transferred Kosecki to Atlético Madrid after the 1992–93 La Liga season, the second most expensive transfer of a foreign player in that window. After a successful year with Atlético Madrid and the Poland national team, Kosecki was chosen as the 1994 Polish footballer of the year by ''Piłka Nożna'' magazine.
