Jakub Holuša
Jakub Holuša (, born 20 February 1988) is a former Czech middle-distance runner. He represented his country in the men's 800 meters at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics. At the 2016 Olympics, he competed in the 1500 meters. Running career Holuša first took up athletics in the steeplechase discipline. He made his international debut at the 2005 World Youth Championships in Athletics, where he finished seventh overall in the boys' 2000-meter steeplechase. He gradually switched from training for the steeplechase to focusing on the 800 meters, for which he qualified for the 2008 Summer Olympics. After many years of racing as an 800-meter runner, he broke out in the 1500 meters when he ran a sub-3:40 result in the men's 1500 at the World Indoor Championships. He subsequently became Europe's 1500-meter indoor champion when he placed first at the 2015 European Indoor Championships. 2018 Meeting De Paris
The 2018 Meeting de Paris was the 24th edition of the annual outdoor track and field meeting in Paris, France. Held on 30 June 2018 at the Stade Sébastien Charléty, it was the seventh leg of the 2018 IAAF Diamond League – the highest level international track and field circuit. Seven world-leading performances were set, including Qatari Abderrahman Samba's Asian record time of 46.98 seconds in the men's 400 metres hurdles and Caster Semenya's 1:54.25 minutes for the women's 800 metres. Both these were meeting records, as were Mariya Lasitskene's 2.04 m in the women's high jump and Sandra Perković's 68.60 m in the women's discus throw. Bahrain's Salwa Eid Naser also set an Asian record to win the women's 400 metres, with 49.55. Dukla Prague
Dukla Prague ( cz, Dukla Praha) was a Czechoslovakia, Czech association football, football club from the city of Prague. Established in 1948 as ATK Praha, the club won a total of 11 Czechoslovak league titles and eight Czechoslovak Cups, and in the 1966–67 season, reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, European Cup. As late as 1985–86 they reached the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup semi-final and they also made a great impact in the American Challenge Cup competition in New York City with four wins between 1961 and 1964. 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships
The 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics was the fifteenth edition of the international indoor track and field competition, organised by the IAAF. The event was held between 7–9 March 2014 at the Ergo Arena in Sopot, Poland. Preparation Host bidding The IAAF announced on 1 September 2011 that it had received bids from Poland and Croatia to host the championships. Later Zagreb, Croatia withdrew due to lack of funding. On 11 November 2011 at a Council meeting in Monaco, the IAAF announced that Sopot, as the only remaining bidder, would host the championships. Budapest, Hungary had shown interest but eventually did not bid. Venue The Championships were held at the Ergo Arena, opened in 2010, on the border of the cities of Sopot and Gdańsk. 2005 World Youth Championships In Athletics
The 2005 World Youth Championships in Athletics were held in Marrakesh, Morocco on July 13–July 17. The host stadium was Stade Sidi Youssef Ben Ali. The boy's 400 metres hurdles event was initially won by Sudan's Abdulagadir Idriss in a time of 50.78 seconds, but this was later annulled due to Idriss failing a doping control.
