Jake McGing
Jake McGing (born 22 May 1994) is an Australian professional footballer who plays as a right back for Macarthur FC. Playing career McGing first played junior football for Macarthur Rams before he played senior football for Marconi Stallions. In February 2015, McGing signed a professional contract with A-League side Central Coast Mariners, having previously played for the Mariners' youth team. McGing made his debut for the Central Coast in a loss to Wellington Phoenix in the 2015 FFA Cup. He signed a two-year extension with the club in August 2015. Originally a midfielder, McGing moved into centre back under Mariners coach Tony Walmsley. McGing scored his first A-League goal for the Mariners in November 2016, from a header in a draw against Newcastle Jets in the F3 Derby. ''The World Game'' was an Australian football (soccer) television show broadcast on the SBS network, as well as a dedicated associated website. The show debuted in 2001 and was the only Australian TV programme dedicated to both football news and issues within Australia as well as around the world. The Australia Cup, formerly known as the FFA Cup until the 2021 season, is the national football knockout cup competition in Australia. Liam McGing (born 11 December 1998) is an Australian professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Sydney United 58 in the National Premier Leagues NSW. Professional career On 21 May 2019, McGing made his professional debut in the 2019 AFC Champions League in a group stage match against Kawasaki Frontale. On 23 November 2019, McGing made his A-League debut, coming on as a sub for the Wellington Phoenix in their 2–1 win over the Brisbane Roar. It was the Phoenix first win of the 2019–20 season. Macarthur is a region in the south-west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
