Jake Kostecki
Jake Kostecki (born 24 January 2000) is a former Australian professional racing driver who competed in the Repco Supercars Championship. Biography Junior Series Kostecki began his career in karts at the age of 8, in the 2008 Western Australian Karting Championship. By 2011, Kostecki was winning races and in 2013, he came third in the SKUSA SuperNats XVII - TaG Junior sponsored by Russell Karting Specialties. V8 Touring Car Series (2015) Kostecki made headlines in 2015 with his announcement of joining the V8 Touring Car series, at the age of 15. Driving an ex-Craig Lowndes Ford Falcon, he finished ninth in the championship that year. Perth is the capital and largest city of the Australian state of Western Australia. 2017 Super2 Series
The 2017 Super2 Series (known for commercial reasons as the 2017 Dunlop Super2 Series) was an Australian motor racing competition for Supercars, staged as a support series to the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship. It was the eighteenth annual Supercars Development Series. The series was won by Todd Hazelwood, driving a Holden VF Commodore for Matt Stone Racing. A few substantial changes were seen for the 2017 season including the new rules of the Super2 program. This saw the opportunity for Dunlop Series teams to field a Wildcard entry in up to two of the four Virgin Australia Supercars Championship events at Winton, Barbagallo Raceway, Hidden Valley and Queensland Raceway. Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit
The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Ventnor, on Phillip Island, Victoria, Australia. The current circuit was first used in 1956. History Road circuit Motor racing on Phillip Island began in 1928 with the running of the 100 Miles Road Race, an event which has since become known as the first Australian Grand Prix. It utilised a high speed rectangle of local closed-off public roads with four similar right hand corners. The course length varied, with the car course approximately per lap, compared to the motorcycle circuit which was approximately in length. Adelaide Street Circuit
The Adelaide Street Circuit (also known as the Adelaide Parklands Circuit) is a temporary street circuit in the East Parklands adjacent to the Adelaide central business district in South Australia, Australia. The "Grand Prix" version of the track hosted eleven Formula One Australian Grand Prix events from 1985 to 1995, as well as an American Le Mans Series endurance race on New Year's Eve in 2000 ( Race of a Thousand Years). The Opel Insignia is a large family car (D-segment in Europe) developed and produced by the German car manufacturer Opel since 2008. Robby Gordon Motorsports is a motorsports constructor owned by Robby Gordon. The company was formed in 2005 as a race team for Gordon's NASCAR career. RGM spent the years of 2005 to 2012 competing in the NASCAR Cup Series, and part-time stints in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
