Jake Keegan
Jake Keegan (born September 7, 1990) is an American professional soccer forward who currently plays for One Knoxville SC in USL League One. Club career Youth Keegan played 4 seasons at John Jay High School helping the team win the 2008 Class AA Section 1 Championship and advancing to the New York State Final Four. Keegan played club soccer for the East Fishkill Thunder. The team was the most successful in club history winning the 2009 Eastern New York State Cup, Region 1 Championship and finishing 3rd at the USYS National Championships. Keegan also won a Gold Medal at the 2008 Empire State Games as a member of the Hudson Valley. College Keegan played 4 seasons of NCAA Division 1 soccer at Binghamton University. He became the schools all time leading Division 1 goal scorer and was drafted in the 2013 MLS Supplemental Draft by the Philadelphia Union of Major League Soccer. Adam Evans
Adam George Evans (born 3 May 1994) is an Irish footballer who plays as a midfielder for NIFL Premiership side Warrenpoint Town. Career Born in Dublin, Evans joined the youth system of Burnley in 2010 on a two-year scholarship, having previously played for Irish side Belvedere. He was part of the youth team that reached the semi-finals of the FA Youth Cup in 2012, eventually losing to rivals Blackburn Rovers. In May 2012, Evans signed a professional one-year contract following the completion of his scholarship. In September 2012, Evans joined Conference North side Droylsden on an initial one-month loan. He made his debut for the club in a 2–1 league defeat to Worcester City. His first goal for the club, a superb shot from outside the box, earned the Bloods three points against Gloucester City in a 1–0 win. 2019 Greenville Triumph SC Season
The 2019 season was Greenville Triumph SC's first of existence. They played in USL League One. Background The formation of a third tier USL League was announced in April 2017, and league officials began touring the country looking for candidate cities for new soccer clubs. USL vice president Steven Short visited Greenville in July 2017, and told local reporters at the time that Greenville was one of the league's top candidates. In early 2018, USL began announcing teams that would play in their inaugural season. The formation of the Greenville Triumph SC was officially announced on March 13, 2018, with local entrepreneur Joe Erwin named as the principal owner. 2016 North American Soccer League Season
The 2016 North American Soccer League season is the 49th season of Division II soccer in the United States and Canada, and the 6th season of the modern North American Soccer League. Three expansion clubs joined the league, with Miami FC and Rayo OKC joining in the Spring season and Puerto Rico FC beginning competition in the Fall season. In December, 2015, the San Antonio Scorpions' home stadium, Toyota Field, was bought by the city of San Antonio for use by Spurs Sports & Entertainment to host a club in the USL, forcing the Scorpions to cease operations. In January, 2016, the NASL suspended its operation of the Atlanta Silverbacks for the 2016 season and possibly beyond.
