Jake Dean
Jake Dean is a fictional character from the British Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', played by Kevin Sacre. Sacre portrayed the character between 2002 and 2008, before making a return on 5 October 2009. In March 2010, Sacre was axed from the series by Paul Marquess during his major revamp and cast cull. Jake made his last appearance on 6 August 2010. Character creation In late-mid 2002, it was announced that regular character Steph Dean's family would appear on the series. Max Brown who secured the role of Kristian Hargreaves, originally auditioned for the role of Jake. However actor Kevin Sacre was the successful applicant. Jake and his onscreen brother Craig Dean (Guy Burnett) were introduced as two of four new male characters introduced in late 2002. Kevin Sacre
Kevin Sacre-Dallerup (born Kevin Bignell on 23 March 1978), accessed 30 May 2007 is a British actor. He is most famous for his performance as Jake Dean in the Channel 4 British soap opera ''Hollyoaks'', a role he played from 2002 to 2010. Early life He was born in London. He attended secondary school at Aylesbury Grammar School. Acting career Kevin started his career at the Royal Shakespeare Company followed by TV series Night and Day for ITV in which he played Dennis Doyle from 2001 to 2002 with ex-cast member Stuart Manning then on to Hollyoaks. He left the show in May 2008. In December 2008, Kevin played the lead in '' Aladdin'' at Sheffield Lyceum Theatre. On 6 July 2009, after much speculation it was confirmed Sacre will be returning to his role as tragic, incarcerated, mentally ill Jake Dean. Guy Burnet (born 8 August 1983) is a British theatre, film and television actor. Early life Burnet was born in London, England. He attended Holland Park School where his interest in drama first developed, taking an A level in the subject. Before becoming an actor, Burnet aspired to become a professional footballer. He attended Queens Park Rangers Football School. He subsequently undertook trials and played in various locations throughout Europe before returning to London to complete his A levels. He still plays football, taking part in a football match on 1 June 2007 at the new Wembley Stadium prior to England's first match at the stadium. Max Brown (born 10 February 1981) is a British actor. Early life Brown was born in Ilkley, Yorkshire, and spent most of his childhood in the town of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. He has two sisters, Chloe and Phoebe. Brown's father is a civil servant and his mother a governor at a family support charity. Brown was drawn to acting from an early age after moving schools at a young age. He performed in plays regularly at the local Music Hall in Shrewsbury.
