Ían Jairo Misael Torres Ramírez (born 5 July 2000) is a Mexican professional footballer who plays as a winger for Major League Soccer club Chicago Fire. Club career Youth Torres joined Atlas youth academy in 2011. Which he then continued through Los Rojinegros Youth Academy successfully going through U-13, U-15, U-17 and U-20. He finally broke thorough to the first team, José Guadalupe Cruz being the coach promoting Torres to the first team. Senior On November 19, 2016, Torres made his professional debut for Atlas in the Liga MX against Chiapas subbing in at the 45th minute ending in a 1–0 loss. On February 19, 2022, Torres signed a contract with Chicago Fire that will run through 2025, effective May 1, 2022. The 2020–21 Liga MX season (known as the Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons) was the 74th professional season of the top-flight football league in Mexico. The season was divided into two championships—the Torneo Guardianes 2020 and the Torneo Guardianes 2021—each in an identical format and each contested by the same eighteen teams. Copa MX
The Copa MX (formerly called Copa Tower Monterrey, Copa Eliminatoria, Copa México and Copa Corona MX (for sponsorship reasons)) was a Mexican football cup competition that was established in 1907. After a lengthy hiatus that began in 1997, it was restored in 2012. On early editions of the cup, it consisted of both professional and amateur stages. It was the first official tournament that included teams from different parts of Mexico and was considered a prestigious tournament, especially during its earlier years of existence.
