Jaime Vera
Jaime Andrés Vera Rodríguez (born 25 March 1963) is a former Chilean association football, footballer and current manager. Club career Vera began his professional career in Chile with Colo-Colo, before spending five seasons with OFI Crete F.C., OFI in the Super League Greece, Greek Super League. He also had a spell with Monarcas Morelia, Atlético Morelia in the Primera Division de Mexico. He is the second Chilean to play for OFI Crete after Alejandro Hisis and before Miguel Vargas (footballer, born 1969), Miguel Vargas and Felipe Gallegos. International career Vera made several appearances for the senior Chile national football team, including appearing at the 1987 Copa América, 1987, 1989 Copa América, 1989 and 1991 Copa América. Vera also played for Chile at the 1984 Summer Olympics, 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The 1984 Summer Olympics (officially the Games of the XXIII Olympiad and also known as Los Angeles 1984) were an international multi-sport event held from July 28 to August 12, 1984, in Los Angeles, California, United States. It marked the second time that Los Angeles had hosted the Games, the first being in 1932. California was the home state of the incumbent U.S. President Ronald Reagan, who officially opened the Games. The 1991 Copa América football tournament was hosted by Chile, from 6 to 21 July. It was organized by CONMEBOL and all ten member nations participated. Until the 2021 edition, this was the last time that the tournament consisted of only CONMEBOL member nations. In later tournaments, at least two nations from outside CONMEBOL have been invited to bring the total number of participants to twelve. The Copa América 1989 football tournament was hosted by Brazil, from 1 to 16 July. All ten CONMEBOL member nations participated. Brazil won their fourth Copa América, and first since 1949, by beating Uruguay 1–0 in the final match at the Estádio do Maracanã. This achievement ended a 19-year streak without official titles for the Brazilians. The last one had been in the 1970 World Cup. The 1987 Copa América was the 33rd edition of the Copa América, CONMEBOL's national team competition. It was the first Copa América under the new rotational hosting system. Felipe Gallegos
Luis Felipe Gallegos Leiva (born 3 December 1991) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Universidad de Chile. Club career In 2009, Gallegos was promoted to first-adult team and debuted during an unofficial friendly match against Argentinos Juniors. The incoming season, he officially debuted against O'Higgins in a 3–3 away draw. The following match he assisted to Diego Rivarola in the second goal of the 2–0 away win over Cobreloa. His first competitive goal came on 15 August 2010 against Everton de Viña del Mar in a 5–1 victory. In mid-2012 Gallegos left the club and joined on loan to German second-tier side Union Berlin. After completing his loan spell, he moved to Spain’s Liga Adelante team Recreativo de Huelva in June 2013. In June 2014, he joined Necaxa of the Liga MX.
