Jagada Nand Singh
Jagada Nand Singh (born 15 July 1945) is an Indian politician. He is son of Lt. Ramruchi Singh and has done LLB from Harish Chander College in Varanasi in the year 1973. He was a member of the Indian Parliament and represented Buxar (Lok Sabha constituency) in the 15th Lok Sabha from RJD. He was also a 4 term MLA of RJD from Ramgarh Constituency before he became an MP from Buxar of RJD. He is State President of Rashtriya Janata Dal of Bihar. Background Singh hails from a Rajput family. Political career Singh has been associated with Lalu Prasad Yadav, since the foundation of Rashtriya Janata Dal. He is a socialist class of politician and has been a founder member of RJD, the Bihar based political party. Rashtriya Janata Dal
The Rashtriya Janata Dal ( RJD; translation: ''National People's Party'') is an Indian political party, based in the states of Bihar, Jharkhand and Kerala. The party was founded in 1997 by Lalu Prasad Yadav. The party's support base has traditionally been Other Backward Classes, Dalits and Muslims and it is considered a political champion of the lower castes. In 2008, RJD received the status of recognized national level party following its performance in north-eastern states. RJD was derecognised as a national party on 30 July 2010. Rajput (from Sanskrit ''raja-putra'' 'son of a king') is a large multi-component cluster of castes, kin bodies, and local groups, sharing social status and ideology of genealogical descent originating from the Indian subcontinent. Rabri Devi Yadav (born 1 January 1955) is an Indian politician who formerly served three terms as the Chief Minister of Bihar, the first and only woman till date to have held the office. Raghuvansh Prasad Singh (6 June 1946 – 13 September 2020) was an Indian socialist politician. In the Lok Sabha, he represented the Vaishali constituency of Bihar and was the national vice president of the Rashtriya Janata Dal political party. He was one of the senior most politicians in India as a people's representative in the legislature for four decades from 1977. Buxar is a nagar parishad city in the state of Bihar, India bordering Uttar Pradesh. It is the headquarters of the eponymous Buxar district, as well as the headquarters of the community development block of Buxar, which also contains the census town of Sarimpur along with 132 rural villages.
