Jade Buford
Jade M. Buford (born February 15, 1988) is an American professional racing driver with experience in open-wheel racing, open-wheel, sports car racing, sports car, and stock car racing. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 48 Chevrolet Camaro for Big Machine Racing and part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 33 Toyota Tundra for Reaume Brothers Racing. Buford has also raced in the Pirelli World Challenge, British GT Championship, GT4 America Series, and ARCA Menards Series. Racing career Buford began his racing career when he was 18 years old, competing in Porsches; he was also an intern at the Porsche Driving School at Barber Motorsports Park. Atlanta Motor Speedway
Atlanta Motor Speedway (formerly known Atlanta International Raceway from 1960 to 1990) is a 1.54-mile entertainment facility in Hampton, Georgia, United States, 20 miles (32 km) south of Atlanta. It has annually hosted NASCAR Cup Series stock car races since its inauguration in 1960. The venue was bought by Speedway Motorsports in 1990. In 1994, 46 condominiums were built over the northeastern side of the track. In 1997, to standardize the track with Speedway Motorsports' other two intermediate ovals, the entire track was almost completely rebuilt. Shane Lewis (racing Driver)
Shane Lewis (born August 8, 1967) is an American racing driver who has competed primarily in sports car racing. He also competes in off-road racing and short course SXS racing. Career Shane Lewis's motorsport career began in 1989 in Southern California. At the end of the year, he won the 20th edition of the United States Formula Ford Festival. From 1991 onwards, he started regularly in SCCA and IMSA races. In 1995 he won the IMSA supercar races at Mid-Ohio and Phoenix. In the 1996 SCCA Pro Racing World Challenge, he finished second in the championship behind Almo Coppelli. In 1997, he began competing in the IMSA GT Championship in the GT1 class. 2018 Pirelli World Challenge
The 2018 Pirelli World Challenge is the 29th season of the Pirelli World Challenge. Patrick Long was the defending champion in the highest class, the GT class. It is the second season sanctioned by the United States Auto Club. The season began on 9 March in St. Petersburg and ended on 2 September at Watkins Glen. It is the first season of the new TCR class, while the TCB class has been removed from the series. On 25 May 2018, the series announced it had been acquired by the SRO Motorsports Group. 2016 Pirelli World Challenge
The 2016 Pirelli World Challenge was the 27th running of the Sports Car Club of America's World Challenge series. Johnny O'Connell was the defending champion in the highest class, the GT class. Schedule The final calendar was revealed on November 3, 2015. The season comprised 11 rounds, with several rounds in support of the 2016 IndyCar Series season, IndyCar Series and the 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. 2019 GT4 America Series
The 2019 Pirelli GT4 America Series was the inaugural season of the GT4 America Series. It took over the GTS class of the Pirelli World Challenge, which adopted global GT4 technical regulations in 2018, and it is a Blancpain GT World Challenge America support series. GT4 America Series is split into a Sprint series, which features 50-minute races with one driver per car, and a SprintX series, which features one-hour races with two drivers per car and a mandatory driver change during Pit stops. Pirelli World Challenge
The GT World Challenge America is a North American auto racing series launched in 1990 by the Sports Car Club of America. It has been managed by the Stephane Ratel Organisation since 2018, and has been sanctioned by the United States Auto Club since 2017. The GT4 America Series is a sports car racing series based in the United States. In 2019, the series was relaunched with the explicit GT4 title, following the alignment in 2017 of the Pirelli World Challenge series "GTS" class with SRO GT4, and the Stéphane Ratel Organisation assuming control of the series in May 2018. British GT Championship
The British GT Championship is a sports car racing series based predominantly in the United Kingdom. The series was originally created by the British Racing Drivers' Club in 1993 and, for its first two seasons, was known as the National Sports GT Challenge. The series is currently run by the Stéphane Ratel Organisation, while Pirelli began its first season as the championship's official sole tyre supplier in 2016. Two classes currently compete in the championship: GT3 and GT4. A consolidation of GT regulations and significant manufacturer support saw British GT first introduce a GT3 class in 2005. 2019 Michelin Pilot Challenge
The 2019 Michelin Pilot Challenge is the twentieth season of the IMSA SportsCar Challenge and the sixth season organized by the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA).
