Jacobus Duivenvoorde
Jacobus Duivenvoorde (November 15, 1928 – November 16, 2011) was the Catholic archbishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Merauke, Indonesia. Ordained to the priesthood in 1954, Duivenvoorde was named a bishop in 1972, retiring in 2004. He died on November 16, 2011, at the age of 83. The Missionaries of the Sacred Heart of Jesus (MSC; la, Missionarii Sacratissimi Cordis; french: Missionnaires du Sacré-Coeur) are a missionary congregation in the Catholic Church. It was founded in 1854 by Servant of God Jules Chevalier (1824–1907) at Issoudun, France, in the Diocese of Bourges. Jules Chevalier, the founder of the Chevalier Family, had a vision of a new world emerging and he wanted to make known the Gospel message of God's love and care for all men and women and to evoke a response in every human heart.
