Jackass (TV Series)
''Jackass'' is an American reality comedy television series created by Jeff Tremaine, Spike Jonze, and Johnny Knoxville. It originally aired for three short seasons on MTV between October 2000 and August 2001, with reruns extending into 2002. The show featured a cast of nine carrying out stunts and pranks on each other or the public. The cast included Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera, Chris Pontius, Dave England, Ryan Dunn, Steve-O, Jason "Wee Man" Acuña, Ehren McGhehey and Preston Lacy. The show was controversial over its perceived indecency and encouragement of dangerous behavior. Reality television is a genre of television programming that documents purportedly unscripted real-life situations, often starring unfamiliar people rather than professional actors. Preston Lacy
Preston Lacy (born August 14, 1969) is an American stunt performer, actor, comedian and one of the stars of the reality stunt show '' Jackass''. Career Lacy was born on August 14, 1969, in either Sarcoxie or Carthage, Missouri. He worked as a truck driver in Missouri before moving to California. He landed roles in several commercials, including one for Napster that aired during Super Bowl XXXIX. Lacy first met Johnny Knoxville through Knoxville's ex-wife, who ran a clothing company. Lacy was hired to transport textiles for the clothing company. After becoming friends with Knoxville, Lacy began to suggest ideas for the ''Jackass'' series to him. ''Homewrecker'' is an American reality show on MTV that was hosted by '' Jackass'' star Ryan Dunn. The show is a twist on home renovation reality shows such as ''Trading Spaces ''Trading Spaces'' is an hour-long American television reality program that originally aired from 2000 to 2008 on the cable channels TLC and Discovery Home. Viva La Bam
''Viva La Bam'' is an American reality television series that stars Bam Margera and his friends and family. The show is a spin-off from MTV's '' Jackass'', in which Margera and most of the main cast appeared. Each episode had a specific theme, mission, or challenge which was accomplished by performing pranks, skateboarding, and enlisting the help of friends, relatives, and/or experts. Although partly improvised, the show was supported by a greater degree of planning and organization. ''Wildboyz'' is an American television series. It is a spin-off and follow-up to '' Jackass''. ''Wildboyz'' debuted in 2003 on MTV, and moved to MTV2 in its third season. The show starred Steve-O and Chris Pontius, who perform stunts and acts with animals, often putting themselves in situations for which they are not trained. Format ''Wildboyz'' follows the antics of Chris Pontius and Steve-O, as they travel around the globe. Over the course of 4 seasons, Pontius and Steve-O have traveled to 19 different locations. At each location, the pair would both interact with the wild as well as learn the culture of the natives. Some of their antics include dressing up and running with the animals they encounter, subjecting themselves to the defense mechanisms of the animals, and eating the food of the native cultures. The single-camera setup originally developed during the birth of the classical Hollywood cinema in the 1910s and has remained the standard mode of production for cinema. Sam Spiegel (born October 31, 1979), known by the stage name Sam i, is an American DJ, producer, composer, and director from New York City. As a child, Spiegel studied classical voice, cello, and flute. By his teens, he loved hip hop music. In addition to creating his own material, Spiegel has worked with musicians such as Kanye West, Lizzo, Sia, Busta Rhymes, Doja Cat, Anderson .Paak, M.I.A., Maroon 5, and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs and many more.
