Jaanu (2020 Film)
''Jaanu'' is a 2020 Indian Telugu-language, Telugu-language romantic drama film written and directed by C. Prem Kumar, Hrishikesh Bhargava, which is a remake of his own Tamil language, Tamil film '''96 (film), '96'' (2018). It is produced by Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations, and stars Sharwanand and Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The film revolves around the reunion of former students from a 2004 batch class fifteen years after their graduation. The reunion also serves as an opportunity for two former lovers, Ram and Janu, to resolve issues surrounding their breakup. It was released on 7 February 2020. Plot K. Velamakucha Venkata Ramana Reddy (born 17 December 1970), known professionally as Dil Raju, is an Indian film producer and distributor known for his works in Telugu cinema. Sirivennela Sitaramasastri
Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry (born Chembolu Seetharama Sastry; 20 May 1955 – 30 November 2021) was an Indian poet and lyricist known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acquired the stage name Sirivennela after writing the lyrics for K. Viswanath's directorial film of Sirivennela, the same name in 1986. Sastry has garnered several awards including eleven state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist, Nandi Awards and four Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist – Telugu, Filmfare Awards South for his work. He has penned lyrics for over 3000 songs until 2020.
