Jaan Kruusvall
Jaan Kruusvall (full name Jaan-Vahur Kruusvall; 7 December 1940 Eru, Palmse Parish, Virumaa – 3 April 2012) was an Estonian writer and playwright. From 1966 to 1971, he studied at Maxim Gorky Literature Institute in Moscow. From 1964 to 1966 and from 1974 to 1976, he worked as an administrator and documentary film editor at Tallinnfilm Tallinnfilm is the oldest surviving film studio in Estonia. Eru, Estonia
Eru is a village in Haljala Parish, Lääne-Viru County, in northern Estonia, on the territory of Lahemaa National Park. It's situated on the southeastern coast of the Eru Bay (part of the Gulf of Finland), just west of Võsu and southwest of Käsmu and Käsmu Peninsula. Eru has a population of 28 (as of 2006). Virumaa ( la, Vironia; Low German: ''Wierland''; Old Norse: ''Virland'') is a former independent county in Ancient Estonia. The Maxim Gorky Literature Institute (russian: Литературный институт им. А. М. Горького) is an institution of higher education in Moscow. It is located at 25 Tverskoy Boulevard in central Moscow.
