JSC ZAZ Stadium
JSC ZAZ Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine that belongs to the Zaporizhzhia Car-manufacturing Plant ( ZAZ). The stadium's capacity is 15,000 people. The stadium is located right next to the factory, just across a railroad. It is located in the southern part of the city and urban residential area. Near the stadium flows a small river Mokra-Moskovka which is a left tributary of Dnieper. Near the stadium is located a train station Zaporizhzhia-1, while the stadium itself is about mile away down the Kosmichna vulytsia (local street) from the main highway /. Originally the stadium was a home to the factory team FC Torpedo Zaporizhzhia that existed in 1982–2002. In 2001-2006, the stadium was the home of FC Metalurh Zaporizhya as the Ukrainian Top League suspended Metaurh's home stadium in 2001 due to safety concerns. Zaporizhzhia ( uk, Запоріжжя) or Zaporozhye (russian: Запорожье) is a city in southeast Ukraine, situated on the banks of the Dnieper, Dnieper River. FC Torpedo Zaporizhzhia is a former professional football team based in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. History Founded in 1982, the club played in the Ukrainian Premier League from 1992 through 1998, after being initially chosen to participate for being one of the top 9 (of 11) Ukrainian teams from the West Division of the Soviet Second League in 1991. Prior to 1982 there were number of the Torpedo predecessors among which "Komunarivets", "Traktor", "Mashynobudivnyk", and others. FC Metalurh Zaporizhya
MFC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia ( uk, Футбо́льний клуб «Металу́рг» Запорі́жжя ) is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Zaporizhzhia. Reestablished in 2017, it is a "phoenix club" of the original Soviet factory team Metalurh that existed in 1935–2016. The original club holds several historical records of the Soviet football, particularly while participating in the Soviet second tier (in 1971–1991 known as First League). The club has the highest number of seasons spent in the Soviet second tier as well as the highest number of tournament points it earned. Highway M18 (Ukraine)
Highway M18 is a Ukrainian international highway ( M-highway) connecting Kharkiv to the southern coast of Crimea in Yalta. The highway is also has an alternative route ( M29) which runs parallel and designed as an expressway between Kharkiv and Novomoskovsk. The section from Novomoskovsk to Yalta is part of European route E105. The section from Kharkiv to Krasnohrad was previously P51. Slavutych Arena ( uk, Славутич-Арена) is a football-only stadium in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. It is used for football matches and is the home of Metalurh Zaporizhzhia. The stadium's official maximum capacity is 12,000. Central Stadium Metalurh The stadium was built in 2006 in place of another stadium that was called Central Stadium Metalurh (or Metalurh Stadium) and which existed since 2 May 1938. The new stadium was built after complete demolishing of the previous stadium.
