Jørn Marumsrud Lande (born May 31, 1968) is a Norwegian hard rock and heavy metal singer and songwriter. He is known for his work with the bands Ark, Beyond Twilight, Millenium, Vagabond, The Snakes, and most notably with power metal band Masterplan. He is also the most recurrent guest singer of the international supergroup Avantasia, and has worked as lead and guest singer in several projects. Currently, he is focusing his activities on his solo project Jorn. In 2014, Lande was hired by Riot Games to be the voice of the character Karthus, of the fictional heavy metal band Pentakill (''League of Legends''). Jørn Oberg Utzon, , Hon. FAIA (; 9 April 191829 November 2008) was a Danish architect. He was most notable for designing the Sydney Opera House in Australia, completed in 1973. When it was declared a World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007, Utzon became only the second person to have received such recognition for one of his works during his lifetime, after Oscar Niemeyer. Other noteworthy works include Bagsværd Church near Copenhagen and the National Assembly Building in Kuwait. He also made important contributions to housing design, especially with his Kingo Houses near Helsingør. Jørn Andersen (born 3 February 1963), sometimes written as Jörn, is a Norwegian-German Association football, football manager and former player. He is the head coach of the Hong Kong national football team, Hong Kong national team. Jorn (band)
Jorn is a Norwegian hard rock and metal band fronted by vocalist Jørn Lande. Other members include guitarist Tore Moren, bassist Sid Ringsby and drummer Francesco Jovino. The band was established in 2000 by Lande and the debut album ''Starfire (Jorn album), Starfire'' was released the same year. The band was the main artist at ProgPower USA in 2006, and they played at the Norway Rock Festival and the Metal Heart Festival in 2007, as well as the Jorddunst Festival in 2009. Jørn Sørensen (born 17 October 1936) is a retired Danish association football striker. He played 31 games and scored six goals for the Denmark national football team, and won a silver medal at the 1960 Summer Olympics. Jørn Harald Hurum (born November 4, 1967) is a Norwegian paleontologist and popularizer of science. He is a vertebrate paleontologist and holds an Associate Professor position at the Natural History Museum of the University of Oslo. He has studied dinosaurs, primitive mammals and plesiosaurs. Media Hurum is known as a popularizer of science with a high media profile. Jørn Christensen (born December 29, 1959) is a Norwegian artist, actor, and record producer. He is known as a prominent and original guitarist of many leading Norwegian bands. Some of the more important projects have been those in conjunction with Ola Snortheim, the force behind Langsomt Mot Nord, which Christensen came up with the name for. Jørn Rattsø (born 27 September 1952 in Stjørdal) is a Norwegian professor of economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and chairman of Enova SF, Enova. Jørn Irving Goldstein (born March 27, 1953) is a Norwegian Olympic ice hockey player. Biography Goldstein was born in Oslo, Norway, and is Jewish. His mother's family, surname Schapow, immigrated to Norway from Lithuania in the early 1900s. His father, Otto Goldstein, arrived in 1947 from Germany, a Holocaust survivor who survived and was liberated in World War II from Nazi Germany's concentration camps. The family eventually moved to Ila, Trondheim. As an 18-year old Goldstein joined Manglerud Star Ishockey, and became the team's goalkeeper. Goldstein played for the Norway men's national ice hockey team, Norwegian national ice hockey team, and participated at the Winter Olympics in 1984. Halle Jørn Hanssen (born 18 February 1937) is a Norwegian television correspondent, development aid administrator and politician. He was born in Brønnøy, and worked as a teacher in Vinje, Sør-Trøndelag before enrolling at the University of Oslo. He graduated with the cand.mag. degree in 1964, and worked as a researcher at the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs from 1965 up to and including 1968. Having been the chairman of the Young Liberals of Norway from 1964 to 1966, in early 1969 he was hired as secretary for the Liberal Party.
