József Tóth (born 5 February 1950) is a Hungarian politician, who has been the mayor of Angyalföld (13th district of Budapest) since 1994. He was also a member of the National Assembly (MP) for Angyalföld (Budapest Constituency XX) from 2002 to 2014. The Hungarian Socialist Workers' Party ( hu, Magyar Szocialista Munkáspárt, MSZMP) was the ruling Marxist–Leninist party of the Hungarian People's Republic between 1956 and 1989. It was organised from elements of the Hungarian Working People's Party during the Hungarian Revolution of 1956, with János Kádár as general secretary.
