Jytte Abildstrøm
Jytte Abildstrøm (25 March 1934 – 2 January 2025) was a Danish film and theatre actress, and theatre manager. She appeared in 40 films between 1956 and 2006. She was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. She and her husband Søren Mygind are the parents of Peter Mygind. Abildstrøm entered hospice care in December 2024. She died on 2 January 2025, two months shy of her 91st birthday. Jytte Solveig Hansen (25 July 1932 – 26 November 2015) was a Danish swimmer who won a silver medal in the 200 m breaststroke at the 1954 European Aquatics Championships. She competed in the same event at the 1948, 1952 and 1956 Summer Olympics The 1956 Summer Olympics, officially the Games of the XVI Olympiad and officially branded as Melbourne 1956, were an international multi-sport event held in Melbourne, Victoria (Australia), Victoria, Australia, from 22 November to 8 December ... with the best achievement of fifth place in 1952. Biography Hansen started swimming in a club in 1946. Already in 1948, she won the national championships in the 100 m and 200 m breaststroke and reached the finals at the 1948 Olympics. In 1958, she married her coach, Jørgen Nielsen, and changed her last name. After retiring from competitions she worked for 37 years as a swimming coach.

Jytte Klausen (born 21 February 1954) is a Danish-born scholar of politics who teaches at Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts as the Lawrence A. Wien Professor of International Cooperation in the Department of Politics. Klausen has also served as an affiliate at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard, among other positions. Klausen is a graduate of the University of Aarhus in Denmark, and earned her doctorate at the New School for Social Research in New York City. Her background is in comparative historical research with a focus on Western Europe and North America. She also has expertise in domestic and international terrorism, Islam in the West, and immigration and social cohesion. Miss Universe 1953 was the 2nd Miss Universe pageant, held at the Long Beach Municipal Auditorium in Long Beach, California, United States of America on 17 July 1953. At the end of the event, actress Julie Adams crowned Christiane Martel from France as Miss Universe 1953. It is the first victory of France in the pageant's history.
