''Jyeshthoputro'' is a 2019 Indian Bengali language film directed by Kaushik Ganguly and features Prosenjit Chatterjee, Ritwick Chakraborty, Sudipta Chakraborty and Gargi Roychowdhury. The original story of the film was conceived by Rituparno Ghosh titled Anyo Nayok. In this film Prosenjit and Ritwik shared the screen for the first time. At the 67th National Film award, Jyesthoputro received two awards, one for Best Original Screenplay and another for Best Background Score. Prosenjit Chatterjee
Prosenjit Chatterjee (born 30 September 1962) is an Indian actor and producer. He is widely regarded as one of the leading actors in modern Bengali cinema. He predominantly works in Bengali cinema . He is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Biswajit Chatterjee. He began his acting career as a child actor in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's ''Chotto Jigyasa'', for which he won the Bengal Film Journalists' Association – Most Outstanding Work of the Year Award. Kaushik Ganguly (born 4 August 2012) is an Indian film director, screenwriter and actor in Bengali cinema. Ritwick Chakraborty is an Indian actor who works in Bengali cinema. He made his debut with Pagol Premi in 2007. He plays different roles in different sorts of movies, so he is a versatile actor in Bengali Film Industry. Career Chakraborty was associated with Bengali theatre from a very early age.
