Justin Storms
Justin Storms (born 1981 in Corpus Christi, Texas) is an American artist and musician. Art Storms' work primarily revolves around a post-apocalyptic whaling Dystopia which he refers to as a "Whaletopia." Stylistically his work is airy and serene with gritty themes dealing with: overpopulation, global warming, extinction, war, death, whaling, mysticism, and maritime history. His work has been compared to Hieronymus Bosch and Géricault. Justin Storms has exhibited in museums, art fairs, and galleries worldwide. A few being The Drawing Center, Preview Berlin, Arthouse at the Jones Center for The New American Talent 23 exhibition in Austin, Walters Art Museum, Loop Gallery in Berlin, Stolenspace Gallery in London, and Parker's Box in Brooklyn. Corpus Christi (; Ecclesiastical Latin: "'' Body of Christ"'') is a coastal city in the South Texas region of the U.S. state of Texas and the county seat and largest city of Nueces County, it also extends into Aransas, Kleberg, and San Patricio Counties. CVLT Nation is an international online magazine established by Sean Reveron and Meghan MacRae in 2011 in Los Angeles, California. Founded primarily as an independent clothing brand inspired by crust punk and extreme metal, its articles and music projects have gained considerable recognition. CVLT Nation is now based in Vancouver, Canada. The publication focuses on music, art and fashion, especially relating to underground musicians and visual artists of extreme metal, crust punk and punk rock's heavier subgenres. Berlin Tempelhof Airport
Berlin Tempelhof Airport (german: Flughafen Berlin-Tempelhof) was one of the first airports in Berlin, Germany. Situated in the south-central Berlin borough of Tempelhof-Schöneberg, the airport ceased operating in 2008 amid controversy, leaving Tegel and Schönefeld as the two main airports serving the city for another twelve years until both were replaced by Berlin Brandenburg Airport in 2020. Tempelhof was designated as an airport by the Reich Ministry of Transport on 8 October 1923. The old terminal was originally constructed in 1927. In anticipation of increasing air traffic, the Nazi government began an enormous reconstruction in the mid-1930s. The Walters Art Museum, located in Mount Vernon-Belvedere, Baltimore, Maryland, United States, is a public art museum founded and opened in 1934. It holds collections established during the mid-19th century. The Drawing Center
The Drawing Center is a Manhattan, New York, museum and a nonprofit exhibition space that focuses on the exhibition of drawings, both historical and contemporary. History The Drawing Center was founded by former assistant curator of drawings at the Museum of Modern Art Martha Beck in 1977, with the mandate of seeking to "express the quality and diversity of drawing -- unique works on paper -- as a major art form".
