Justin Green (fullback)
Justin Green (born April 30, 1982) is a former American football fullback. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Montana. Green was also a member of the New York Jets and Arizona Cardinals. Early years Green attended the University of San Diego High School and was a student and earned three varsity letters in football and two in basketball. In football, he was a two-time League MVP and a two-time first-team All-California Interscolastic Federation honoree. In basketball, he helped his team win the state championship. He finished his high school career in the year 2000 with 5,397 yards rushing, which, at the time, was the most rushing yards in the history of San Diego high school football. Fullback (gridiron Football)
A fullback (FB) is a position in the offensive backfield in gridiron football, and is one of the two running back positions along with the halfback. Fullbacks are typically larger than halfbacks and in most offensive schemes the fullback's duties are split among power running, pass catching, and blocking for both the quarterback and the other running back. Many great runners in the history of American football have been fullbacks, including Jim Brown, Marion Motley, Bronko Nagurski, Jim Taylor, Franco Harris, Larry Csonka, John Riggins, Christian Okoye, and Levi Jackson.
