Justin Fletcher
Justin Fletcher (born 15 June 1970) is an English actor, comedian, singer and television presenter on the BBC pre-school television channel CBeebies. Speaking and performing in various, often self-created, roles, he specialises in slapstick comedy and works with children with special needs through his show '' Something Special''. Fletcher also appears as the award-winning comedian Mr Tumble. Biography Fletcher was born on 15 June 1970 in Reading, Berkshire, the son of Guy Fletcher. He has three sisters and one brother. He attended Theale Green School. He currently lives in Winnersh, Wokingham, Berkshire. CBeebies
CBeebies is a British free-to-air public broadcast children's television channel owned and operated by the BBC. It is also the brand used for all BBC content for children aged 6 years and under. Its sister channel CBBC is aimed at older children ages 6–12. It broadcasts every day from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, timesharing with BBC Four. ''Boo!'' is a British computer-animated children's television series that was broadcast in the United Kingdom on the CBeebies channel, and originally on BBC Two. It features several cartoon characters who play a game similar to hide and seek in a variety of settings. The commentary is performed by adult male and female narrators and a chorus of children. It was produced by the independent production company Tell-Tale Productions, which was also responsible for ''Tweenies'', while Universal Pictures co-funded the production and handled worldwide distribution and consumer product rights. ''Finley the Fire Engine'' is a 2007 British CGI animated children's television series produced by Balley Beg Animation Studios in Douglas, Isle of Man. Synopsis The show is about talking vehicles in a fictional town called Friendlyville. 78 episodes have been aired, each running for 15 minutes. Sarah-Jane Honeywell
Sarah-Jane Honeywell (born 5 January 1974) is an English actress, writer, TV and radio presenter, blogger and singer. She is best known for her work on the CBeebies television channel. As well as appearing on pre-school TV, Honeywell is a supporter of Bristol City F.C. and writes a regular column in the Ashton Gate Stadium match day programme 'Well Red'. Honeywell is a vegan, and does charity work for Dogs Trust. Fairies being her website and personal symbol, she also has a fairy-wings tattoo. In December 2006, Honeywell released an EP titled ''Love and Magic''. Higgledy House
''Higgledy House'' is a British children's television show on the CBeebies channel. The programme originally aired as a segment on ''Tikkabilla'' before the episodes were reformatted as a standalone series in 2006. Synopsis The series stars Justin Fletcher and Sarah-Jane Honeywell, as two adolescent friends who share a house and whose eccentric exploits are the subject of the show. The BBC described the show as "comedy, learning, and fun for pre school children." "Higgledy House" was filmed in a house in Fortis Green, London, which provides the main and only setting for each episode. ''Playdays'' (known as ''Playbus'' until December 1989) is a British pre-school television programme which ran from 1988 to 1997 on CBBC. The show was the successor to '' Play School'' and, like its predecessor, was designed as an educational programme. The show's name was changed after the BBC received a complaint from the National Playbus Association. In 2002, reruns were moved to the new CBeebies channel until August 2004. Dave Benson Phillips (born 3 February 1965) is a British entertainer, comic, children's television presenter and wrestler, best known for his work presenting ''Playhouse Disney'' (1998–2006) and '' The Fun Song Factory'' (1994–1999). He also presented the popular CBBC game show ''Get Your Own Back'', which he now tours with around the UK. Narcolepsy
Narcolepsy is a long-term neurological disorder that involves a decreased ability to regulate sleep–wake cycles. Symptoms often include periods of excessive daytime sleepiness and brief involuntary sleep episodes. About 70% of those affected also experience episodes of sudden loss of muscle strength, known as cataplexy. Narcolepsy paired with cataplexy is evidenced to be an autoimmune disorder. These experiences of cataplexy can be brought on by strong emotions. Less commonly, there may be vivid hallucinations or an inability to move (sleep paralysis) while falling asleep or waking up. People with narcolepsy tend to sleep about the same number of hours per day as people without, but the quality of sleep tends to be lessened. A showreel (also known as a demo reel, sizzle reel, or work reel) is a short video showcasing a person's previous work used by many kinds of people involved in filmmaking and other media, including actors, animators, lighting designers, editors, and models. Gordon the Gopher, also known as Gordon T. Gopher, is an English puppet gopher who first appeared on Children's BBC (CBBC) between 1985 and 1987, listed on television shows by Phillip Schofield on the interstitial or in-vision continuity programme ''The Broom Cupboard''. He is a yellow puppet gopher with red paws resembling lobster claws.
