Justin Faulk
Justin Michael Faulk (born March 20, 1992) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the Carolina Hurricanes for the first eight years of his career. He was selected by the Hurricanes in the 2nd round (37th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. Before turning professional, Faulk played for the University of Minnesota Duluth where he set a new school record for most goals by a rookie defenceman and helped them capture the national championship. Early life Faulk was born on March 20, 1992, in South St. Paul, Minnesota to parents Gail and Dale. Carolina Hurricanes
The Carolina Hurricanes (colloquially known as the Canes) are a professional ice hockey team based in Raleigh, North Carolina. They compete in the National Hockey League (NHL) as a member of the Metropolitan Division in the Eastern Conference, and play their home games at PNC Arena. A hat-trick or hat trick is the achievement of a generally positive feat three times in a match, or another achievement based on the number three. Origin The term first appeared in 1858 in cricket, to describe H. H. Stephenson taking three wickets with three consecutive deliveries. The 2021 Stanley Cup playoffs was the playoff tournament of the National Hockey League (NHL). Nazem Kadri
Nazem Kadri (born October 6, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player for the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs seventh overall in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. He played his junior career in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), first with the Kitchener Rangers and then the London Knights. He won the J. Ross Robertson Cup with Kitchener and was part of the Rangers team that lost to the Spokane Chiefs in the final of the 2008 Memorial Cup. Kadri has also represented Canada internationally at the 2010 World Junior Championships, where the team received the silver medal after losing the final to the United States 6–5. Dominik Bokk
Dominik Bokk (born 3 February 2000) is a German professional ice hockey forward currently playing for Löwen Frankfurt in the DEL, on loan as a prospect for the Carolina Hurricanes of the National Hockey League (NHL). A top prospect going into the 2018 NHL Entry Draft, Bokk was selected 25th overall by the St. Louis Blues. He did not end up playing with them, as he was traded to the Hurricanes the following year. Internationally, he has played for the German national team at the 2017 World U18 Championship and the 2018 World Junior Championship, both at the Division I level. Joel Edmundson (born June 28, 1993) is a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman and alternate captain for the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played for the St. Louis Blues and Carolina Hurricanes. Growing up in Brandon, Manitoba, Edmundson and his brother played junior ice hockey with their hometown midget AAA team, the Brandon Wheat Kings. Captain (ice Hockey)
In ice hockey, the captain is the player designated by a team as the only person authorized to speak with the game officials regarding rule interpretations when the captain is on the ice. At most levels of play each team must designate one captain and a number of alternate captains (usually two or three) who speak to the officials when the captain is on the bench. Captains wear a "C" on their sweaters, while alternate captains wear an "A".
