Justice S. Mohan
Shanmughasundaram Mohan (11 February 1930 – 27 December 2019) was former judge of the India Supreme Court and former acting governor of Karnataka state. He authored 11 books in English and seven books in Tamil. Biography Shanmughasundaram Mohan was born in Udumalpet of Coimbatore district on 11 February 1930. After completing graduation from Presidency College, Chennai, Presidency College Madras, he did his bachelor's degree in law from University of Madras and Masters in Constitution and International Law. Enrolled as advocate in the High Court of Madras in August 1954, he became government pleader in 1969. From 1956 to 1966, Mohan served as a part-time lecturer in Law College, Madras. He was appointed Advocate General of Madras in 1971. In February 1974, he was appointed additional judge of Madras High Court and became permanent Judge on 1 August 1975. List Of Governors Of Karnataka
The Governor of Karnataka is the constitutional head of the Indian state of Karnataka. The governor is appointed by the president of India for a term of five years, and holds office at the president's pleasure. The governor is ''de jure'' head of the government of Karnataka; all its executive actions are taken in the governor's name. However, the governor must act on the advice of the popularly elected council of ministers, headed by the chief minister of Karnataka, which thus holds ''de facto'' executive authority in the state. Guruswamy, a liquor businessman from Ballari and was launched on 17 June 1948. It is published by The Printers Mysore, a privately held company owned by the Nettakallappa family, heirs of Guruswamy. It has seven editions printed from Bengaluru, Hubballi, Davanagere, Hosapete, Mysuru, Mangaluru, and Kalaburagi. History and background ''Deccan Herald'' was launched on 17 June 1948. Its founder, K. N. Guruswamy, in search of a suitable location for a news publishing business, purchased a bar and restaurant called Funnel's, that was owned by an Irish couple, in March 1948.
