We the Kings is an American rock band from Bradenton, Florida. The band's eponymous full-length debut album, released in 2007, included the platinum single "Check Yes Juliet", and went on to sell over 250,000 copies in the US. ''Somewhere Somehow'' is the fourth studio album by American rock band We the Kings. It is the first album without bassist Drew Thomsen, who was replaced by Charles Trippy. Keyboardist Coley O'Toole was also added into the lineup. After parting ways with S-Curve Records, the group released the single " Just Keep Breathing" in April 2013. Over the next couple of months, the band released "Find You There" and "Any Other Way" as singles before going on the Summer Fest tour. In late September, the band started a campaign to crowd-fund their next album; it eventually received over $149,000 from 2,309 people. S-Curve Records was founded in 2000 by former Mercury Records executive Steve Greenberg. It is based in New York City. In 2001 the label established a distribution and licensing agreement with EMI Records. Among the hits released by S-Curve between 2000-2004 were " Who Let the Dogs Out?" by Baha Men, "Stacy's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne and Joss Stone's first two albums, '' the Soul Sessions'' and '' Mind Body & Soul''. ''Sunshine State of Mind'' is the third studio album by American rock band We the Kings, released on July 5, 2011. Background While writing new material, We the Kings used piano and acoustic guitars. Travis Clark explained that he "wanted all the songs to be able to be stripped down with acoustic and vocals, and he bandbuilt it off that." Release ''Sunshine State of Mind'' was released through S-Curve Records on July 5, 2011 on iTunes and July 12 everywhere else.
