"Just Got Lucky" was the second single from the British band JoBoxers. The track was initially released on the band's debut album, '' Like Gangbusters'', in 1983. The song reached the top ten in the UK and the top 40 in the United States that autumn. It was later released on the band's albums ''Doing the Boxerbeat - The Anthology'' and ''Essential Boxerbeat''. JoBoxers
JoBoxers are a British new wave group formed in 1982, when former Subway Sect members Rob Marche (guitarist), Dave Collard (keyboardist), Chris Bostock (bassist), and Sean McLusky (drummer), teamed up with England-based American singer Dig Wayne (born Timothy Wayne Ball, 20 July 1958, Cambridge, Ohio). Wayne, under the name Buzz Wayne, had previously fronted the New York-based rockabilly band Buzz and the Flyers. Career The band's debut single, " Boxerbeat", peaked at number three on the UK Singles Chart while the group were the opening act on the Madness Rise and Fall tour. At numbers one and two at the time were David Bowie's " Let's Dance" and Duran Duran's "Is There Something I Should Know?", respectively. However, it was their next hit, " Just Got Lucky", that broke the band internationally. Goin' Bulilit () is a Philippine sketch comedy program broadcast by ABS-CBN. Max's Restaurant, sometimes known as Max's of Manila or simply Max's, is a Philippine-based multinational restaurant chain which serves fried chicken and other Filipino dishes.
