''Just for Kicks'' is a 2005 American documentary film about the athletic shoe, sneaker phenomena and history. It includes self-confessed "Sneaker collecting, sneakerheads" like Grandmaster Caz, Rev Run, Reverend Run, and Missy Elliott. It tells the story of the Air Force 1 (shoe), Nike Air Force Ones, which are called "Uptowns" in New York, and the beginning of Air Jordans. The documentary also tells the story of how hip-hop pioneers DJ Run, Jam Master Jay, and Darryl McDaniels, DMC had everyone wearing Adidas Superstars with their song "My Adidas". Thibaut de Longeville (born 1974) is a writer, filmmaker, creative director, brand marketer and entrepreneur. In 1995, at the age of 21, he founded 360 Communications. 360's two first projects were designing the visual identity for the Tour de France’s new mountain bike event, ''Le Tour VTT'', and organizing an aerosol art tribute to The Rolling Stones in conjunction with Virgin Records and Agnès b. Joseph Ward Simmons (born November 14, 1964), better known by the stage name Run, Rev. Run or DJ Run, is an American rapper, producer, DJ and television personality. Simmons is one of the founding members of the influential hip hop group Run-DMC. He is also a practicing minister, known as Reverend Run. The International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (IDFA) is the world's largest documentary film festival held annually since 1988 in Amsterdam. Over a period of twelve days, it has screened more than 300 films and sold more than 250,000 tickets. Visitors to the festival have increased from 65,000 in 2000 to 285,000 in 2018. Rotten Tomatoes is an American review-aggregation website for film and television. The company was launched in August 1998 by three undergraduate students at the University of California, Berkeley: Senh Duong, Patrick Y. Lee, and Stephen Wang. Although the name "Rotten Tomatoes" connects to the practice of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes in disapproval of a poor stage performance, the original inspiration comes from a scene featuring tomatoes in the Canadian film ''Léolo'' (1992). Leonard Hilton McGurr (born November 17, 1955), known as Futura, and formerly known as Futura 2000, is an American graffiti artist. Biography He started to paint illegally on New York City's subway in the early 1970s, working with other artists such as ALI.
