Juraj Halenár
Juraj Halenár (28 June 1983 – 30 June 2018) was a Slovak football forward who was most famous for playing for Slovan Bratislava. Club career Halenár, a native of Trnava, moved to Bratislava at the age of 18, when he joined Slovakia's reigning champions, Inter Bratislava. He impressed in the 2004-05 campaign, in which he scored 12 goals for the club in the Corgoň Liga. Following the first game of the new season, in which he bagged two goals against Ružomberok, Halenár transferred to Artmedia for an undisclosed fee, reported to be in the region of 20 million Slovak crowns. In only his second game for Artmedia on 27 July 2005, he scored a hat-trick against Celtic Glasgow in the 2005 UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie. Trnava
Trnava (, german: Tyrnau; hu, Nagyszombat, also known by other alternative names) is a city in western Slovakia, to the northeast of Bratislava, on the Trnávka river. It is the capital of a ''kraj'' (Trnava Region) and of an '' okres'' (Trnava District). It is the seat of a Roman Catholic archbishopric (1541–1820 and then again since 1977). The city has a historic center. Because of the many churches within its city walls, Trnava has often been called "Little Rome" ( sk, Malý Rím, la, parva Roma), or more recently, the "Slovak Rome". MFK Ružomberok
MFK Ružomberok () is a Slovak football club, playing in the city of Ružomberok. History Established in 1906, the club's colours have been traditionally white, yellow and red, which are also featured on the town's flag. However, the sponsor Mondi Business Paper SCP introduced new colours in 2005: orange, black and white. In 1993 the club gained promotion to the Slovak Second Division for the first time and a second promotion to the Corgoň Liga in 1997. The club's trophy cabinet stayed empty until their centenary year, when in 2006 they lifted both the Corgoň Liga title and the Slovak Cup with the help of 21 goals from the league's joint top scorer Erik Jendrišek. The 2008 UEFA European Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Euro 2008 or simply Euro 2008, was the 13th UEFA European Championship, a quadrennial football tournament contested by the member nations of UEFA (the Union of European Football Associations). It took place in Austria and Switzerland (both hosting the tournament for the first time) from 7 to 29 June 2008. The tournament was won by Spain, who defeated Germany 1–0 in the final. Spain were only the second nation to win all their group stage fixtures and then the European Championship itself, matching France's achievement from 1984. 2002 UEFA European Under-19 Championship
The 2002 UEFA European Under-19 Championship was the first edition of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, after the previous Under-18 competition was reclassified. The tournament was held in Norway, between 21 July and 28 July 2002. The top three teams from each group qualified for the 2003 FIFA World Youth Championship. Players born on or after 1 January 1983 were eligible to participate in this competition. The final tournament took place in seven venues located in seven cities — Bærum, Drammen, Hønefoss, Kongsvinger, Lillestrøm, Moss and Oslo. SK Sigma Olomouc is a Czech football club from the city of Olomouc. The club currently plays in the Czech First League, the first tier of Czech football. The club played in the first tier league for 30 years between 1984 and 2014, winning the Czech Cup and Czech Supercup in 2012. Róbert Semeník (born 13 January 1973) is a retired Slovak association football, footballer. Semeník spent two seasons with FC Nitra, appearing in 17 league matches. He is one of the all-time leading goal-scorers among Slovak footballers. Following the end of his football career in 2012, Semeník became a prison guard.
