Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 was the ninth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and took place in Yerevan, Armenia at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex. It was the first time in history of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest that the contest was held in the previous year's winning country. Public Television of Armenia ARMTV was the main organizer of the show, being provided financial aid from the European Broadcasting Union made of entrance fees from the participating broadcasters, while Swedish company HD Resources assisted with the technical side of the production. Thirteen countries participated, with and withdrawing and returning. The winner was the group Candy from Georgia with the song "Candy Music". and finished in second and third place, respectively. Gohar Gasparyan (entertainer)
Gohar Gasparyan ( hy, Գոհար Գասպարյան; is an Armenian TV personality, journalist, and model who currently works at Public Television of Armenia. From 2010 to 2018, she was head of the Armenian delegation in Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovision and Junior Eurovision Song Contest. Biography Gasparyan was born on 19 October 1985 in Yerevan. Her father is a military man and her mother is a French language teacher. In 2002 she graduated from high school No. 114 School after "Khachik Dashtents" in Armenia. The same year she entered the State Linguistic University after Valery Bryusov, the department of English Language and International Journalism. Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008
The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2008 was the sixth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest, which is the world's largest song contest for children. It was held at the "Spyros Kyprianou" Athletic Centre in Lemesos, Cyprus and hosted by Alex Michael and Sophia Paraskeva. The theme of the event was "Fun in the Sun", despite the fact that there were thunderstorms in Lemesos the day of the contest. It was won by the Georgian trio Bzikebi, with the song "Bzz..". Ukraine took 2nd place and Lithuania finished 3rd. Bzikebi also became the first group act to win Junior Eurovision. For the contest, various changes to the rules were made. One was that adults could assist children to write the songs submitted to their national broadcaster; previously only children could write the songs, with no assistance from adults. Valeriya Andreyevna Engalycheva (russian: Валерия Андреевна Енгалычева, Romanian language, Romanian: Valeria Engalîceva; born 7 April 1999), known professionally as Lerika (russian: Лерика), is a Russians in Moldova, Moldovan-Russian singer and songwriter. She represented Moldova in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 with the song "No-No", and Russia in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012, 2012 contest with "Sensatsiya". The Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2009 was the seventh edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest and took place in Kyiv, Ukraine. It was scheduled for 21 November 2009. 13 countries were confirmed by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to compete in the contest. The contest was won by Ralf Mackenbach for the Netherlands with the song "Click Clack". At the age of 14, he was the oldest person to win the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in its seven-year history. He was joined by Italy's Vincenzo Cantiello who won the 2014 contest also at the age of 14. Luara Hayrapetyan achieved Armenia another second place. The Eurovision Song Contest 2010 was the 55th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. Guðmundur Þór Kárason
Guðmundur Þór Kárason (born 14 June 1974) is an Icelandic puppet designer and puppeteer who is best known for his work on '' LazyTown''. Born in Reykjavík, Iceland, Guðmundur is the son of director Kári H. Þórsson and visual artist Jenný E. Guðmundsdóttir. In 1994, he founded Wit Puppets in Iceland, working on commercials, theater and television programs. Guðmundur's involvement in Wit Puppets ranges from character development, construction and performing some of the puppets himself.
