Junior Adriatic League
The Junior ABA League, officially known as the U19 ABA League Championship, is a regional boy's youth age basketball tournament that is contested between the youth selections of basketball clubs from the ABA League. It is run by the ABA League JTD. It is a regional competition between men's teams from six countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia. History The ABA League Assembly, held on July 24, 2017 in Belgrade, Serbia, decided to organize the Junior League with a desire to strengthen its position as the main power for development of basketball in the region. On October 26, 2017, participants, hosts and dates for the inaugural tournament was confirmed. Mega Bemax became champions of the first-ever U19 ABA League Championship Final Four tournament, which took place in Laktaši in 2018, as they have beaten Crvena zvezda. Slavonski Brod (), commonly shortened to simply Brod, is a city in eastern Croatia, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. 2021–22 Junior ABA League
The 2021–22 Junior ABA League is the fifth season of the Junior ABA League with twelve men's under-19 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. Teams were youth system rosters of the 2021–22 ABA League First Division teams. Mega Mozzart U19 won its third Junior ABA League title defeating SC Derby U19 in the final. Dragoljub Avramović
Dragoljub Avramović ( sr-cyr, Драгољуб Аврамовић; born 10 February 1979) is a Serbian professional basketball coach in the Mega Basket youth system. Coaching career Since 2010, Avramović coached youth systems of Belgrade-based clubs Beovuk 72 and Partizan prior he joined Mega Basket in July 2018. Coaching the Mega Basket U18 & U19 selections, Avramović won the Junior ABA League in 2020–21 and 2021–22, as well as the Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament in 2021–22. Nikola Jović ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Јовић, ; born 9 June 2003) is a Serbian professional basketball player for the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was selected 27th overall by the Heat in the 2022 NBA draft. Early career Jović was born in the Royal Infirmary in Leicester, Leicestershire, England due to his professional basketball player father Ilija playing there at the time. Roko Prkačin (born 26 November 2002) is a Croatian professional basketball player for Girona of the Liga ACB. Standing at , he plays at the power forward position. Early career Prkačin grew up in the youth system of Cibona. At a very early age he started to stand out among his teammates. With the U-16 Cibona team, in 2017 he won U-16 Europe Youth Basketball League Tournament. He was the tournament's top scorer and was named the MVP. 2018–19 Junior ABA League
The 2018–19 Junior ABA League is the second season of the Junior ABA League with twelve men's under-19 teams from Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina. Teams are the junior selections of the 2018–19 ABA League First Division teams. Competition Twelve under-19 teams are participating at the 2018–19 Junior ABA League season and they are divided into two semi-final Groups. In the group stage, all teams will face each other team within a group in a round-robin system. The two best placed teams of each group will advance to the final tournament. At the final tournament, the teams will play two games – the semifinal and the final or third place game. The winner of the final tournament will become the 2018–19 ABA Junior Tournament Champion. Vladimir "Vlada" Vukoičić ( sr, Влада Вукоичић; born 2 June 1973) is a Serbian basketball coach for the Qingdao Eagles of the Chinese Basketball Association. Coaching career Vukoičić was 19 years old in 1994 when he began working as coach in KK FMP's youth system. He continued there until 2003 when he got promoted to the position of first team assistant coach. He worked under head coaches Aco Petrović, Vlade Đurović, and Boško Đokić. Goga Bitadze ( ka, გოგა ბითაძე; born 20 July 1999) is a Georgian professional basketball player for the Indiana Pacers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Listed at and 250 lbs (113 kg), he plays the center position. He was drafted 18th overall by the Pacers in the 2019 NBA draft.
