Mifflin, Pennsylvania
Mifflin is a borough in Juniata County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 534 at the 2020 census. History Mifflin was founded as the town of Patterson. At one time, Mifflin, as well as the small community of Denholm lying directly north of the town, was an important stop along the Pennsylvania Railroad. The railroad tracks still pass through the town, but they are now owned by the Norfolk Southern Railway. The Pennsylvania Railroad depot still stands in Mifflin, although it has long been abandoned. Mifflin-Juniata Career and Technology Center is a comprehensive vocational education facility, serving around 500 high school students from public and private schools in Mifflin and Juniata counties in Pennsylvania. Juniata High School is a small, rural, public high school which is one of two high schools operated by the Juniata County School District. The students reside in the central and western portions of Juniata County in central Pennsylvania. The campus is located centrally in the county in Milford Township and is shared with the school's sole feeder school, Tuscarora Junior High School. Juniata High School provides grades 9th through 12th. In the 2016–2017 school year, it had 587 students.
