Junel Baculi
Edmundo "Junel" Baculi is a Filipino head basketball coach who formerly coached GlobalPort Batang Pier in the PBA. In the PBL, he also coached the Hapee-PCU Dolphins and had many titles. Prior to coaching, Baculi played varsity basketball for the Mapua Cardinals. He coached the Philippines national basketball team that participated at the 2007 Southeast Asian Games guiding the team to a gold medal finish. He is currently the basketball commissioner for the incoming UAAP Season 81. Coaching career PBA Baculi was hired as head coach of Barako Bull Energy Boosters for the 2010 Fiesta Conference. He then coached the team until next conference, when the team played its final conference in the league. He also coached the Barako Bull Energy (different franchise from his team he formerly coached) and led the team into a semi-finals finish in 2012 Commissioner's Cup, but he was fired after the season. The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), established in 1938, is an athletic association of eight Metro Manila universities in the Philippines. The Hapee Fresh Fighters was a basketball team owned by Lamoiyan Corporation that played in the PBA Developmental League (PBA D-League). The franchise began in the Philippine Basketball League from 1994 until the league became dormant in 2010. The franchise was revived in 2014 when it took over the franchise of the NLEX Road Warriors in the PBA D-League. The 2009–10 PBA season was the 35th season of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The season formally opened on October 11, 2009 and ended on August 18, 2010. The league started the season with the Philippine Cup, or the traditional All-Filipino Conference, while finishing the season with the import-laiden Fiesta Conference. NCAA Season 81 Basketball Tournaments
The NCAA Season 81 basketball tournaments are tournaments of the Philippines' National Collegiate Athletic Association for basketball at the 2005–06 season. The tournaments are divided into two divisions: the Juniors tournament for male high school students, and the Seniors tournament for male college students. Colegio de San Juan de Letran hosted the season, starting with an opening ceremony held at the Araneta Coliseum on June 25, 2005 followed by a double-header. UAAP Season 77 is the 2014–15 athletic year of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). The season host is the University of the East with Carmelita Mateo as president. Eight universities are competing in fifteen sports to vie for the general championship. Each sporting event is hosted by a school. Richie Ticzon
Richard Anthony "Richie" Ticzon (born September 8, 1971 in Pasig) is a Filipino former professional basketball player and coach. Nicknamed The Velvet Touch for his outside shooting, Ticzon played college ball at the Ateneo de Manila University. Playing career He was selected fourth overall by Pepsi Mega in the 1994 PBA draft.
