Early years Walker was born in New York City on June 14, 1900, and was orphaned when she was 14. She worked as a millinery clerk before becoming an actress. Stage career Walker performed as a member of the chorus of a Globe Theater production of ''Hitchy-Koo'' when she was 16 years old. She appeared on Broadway in such plays as ''Green Grow the Lilacs'', ''The Farmer Takes a Wife'', and ''Twelfth Night''. It was Harron's first starring role after signing a deal with Metro Pictures Corporation, as well as his last film; Harron died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in September 1920 between completion of filming and the release. Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary is a cemetery and mortuary located in the Westwood Village area of Los Angeles. It is located at 1218 Glendon Avenue in Westwood, with an entrance from Glendon Avenue. The cemetery was established as ''Sunset Cemetery'' in 1905, but had been used for burials since the 1880s. In 1926, the name was officially changed to Westwood Memorial Park and was later changed again to Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary. Although it is the resting place of some of the entertainment industry's greatest names, it also contains the graves of many uncelebrated people.
