Julián Camino
Julián Camino (born 2 May 1961 in Maipú) is an Argentine former football right back who won two league titles with Estudiantes de La Plata and was part of the Argentina squad for Copa América 1983, and since August 2011 is a member of the coaching squad of the Argentina national football team as field assistant to Alejandro Sabella. Playing career Camino was a product of the Estudiantes de La Plata youth system and became the team's right back during the 1982 season. His frequent and efficient transitions to attacking positions caused national coach (and Camino's former mentor in Estudiantes) Carlos Bilardo, to call Camino to the national team in 1983. Maipú, Buenos Aires
Maipú is a town in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the administrative seat of Maipú Partido. It has a population of 8,865. Located in the Pampa, the land is low and swampy. The predominant activity in its catchment area is cattle breeding. It is a central service provider to the rural area. Maipú is along Route 2. It is from the Buenos Aires and from Mar del Plata. The Nehru Cup was an international association football tournament organised by the All India Football Federation (AIFF), named after the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. It was launched in 1982, but was not held from 1998 to 2006. After the trophy was won by Iraq in 1997, it was reinstated only in 2007 before officially being held last in 2012 and was replaced in 2017. Pablo José Blanco Blanco (born 15 December 1951) is a Spanish former footballer who played as a central defender. Club career Born in Seville, Andalusia, Blanco spent his entire professional career with Sevilla FC after joining the club's academy at the age of 15. He made his debut in La Liga on 5 March 1972, playing 60 minutes in the 1–0 away loss against Sporting de Gijón. He added a further four appearances during that season, and his team was relegated. Blanco and Sevilla returned to the top tier after a further three campaigns in the Segunda División. Sergio Daniel "Checho" Batista (; born 9 November 1962) is an Argentine football manager and former international player. As a footballer he played as a midfield for Argentinos Juniors, River Plate, Nueva Chicago, Tosu Futures and All Boys. He represented his national team 39 times from 1985 to 1990 where the team won the 1986 FIFA World Cup. The 2010–11 Primera División season was the 120th season of top-flight professional football in Argentina. A total of 20 teams competed in two championships —the Apertura and Clausura— over the course of the season, which started on August 6, 2010 and ended on June 30, 2011, one day prior to the start of the 2011 Copa América, held in Argentina. Club information Twenty clubs participated in the 2010–11 season. Chacarita Juniors and Atlético Tucumán were relegated at the end of the 2009–10 season. 2009 Copa Libertadores
The 2009 Copa Libertadores de América (officially the 2009 Copa Santander Libertadores de América for sponsorship reasons) was the 50th edition of the Copa Libertadores de América, CONMEBOL's premier annual international club tournament. The tournament was won by Argentine club Estudiantes de La Plata, who achieved their fourth Copa Libertadores title and first in 39 years. Since the inception of a preliminary round in 2004, they are the first club to start in that round and win the Copa Libertadores. 1986 FIFA World Cup
The 1986 FIFA World Cup was the 13th FIFA World Cup, a quadrennial football tournament for men's senior national teams. It was played in Mexico from 31 May to 29 June 1986. The tournament was the second to feature a 24-team format. Colombia had been originally chosen to host the competition by FIFA but, largely due to economic reasons, was not able to do so, and resigned in 1982. Mexico was selected as the new host in May 1983, and became the first country to host the World Cup more than once, after previously hosting in 1970. The World Cup was won by Argentina (their second title, after winning in 1978). Argentina was captained by the 25-year-old Diego Maradona, who played a large part in his team's success by scoring his " Hand of God" goal, as well as another voted "Goal of the Century", in the same quarter-final against England.
