Julius Roden is a Filipino producer and director known for his roles in creating internet movies. VisMinwood Entertainment Hailed as "The Father of Modern Cebuano Movies" due to the success of Puppy Love; a youth-oriented Cebuano Visayan web series, which aired on CCTN Channel 47 in 2016. Julius Roden opened VisMinwood Entertainment via World Cybervision Network in 2018. Early career The first contribution of Julius Roden in the world of independent cinema was the old school horror movie Kasambahay (The Dead's Grin), - released in 2008 at the U.P. Film Institute. A tribute to old school Pinoy horror films that successfully established a remix of scary movies in the past decades of 1970s and 1980s, cascading unrelated scenarios, poor lighting and automatic dialogue replacement, cheap camera angles, and scratches; to make it look like an old film. ''All About Adam'' is a Filipino television series about four young men who live together in one house and deal with their respective careers. Jeremy, Drew, Josh and Paulo maneuver their lives as each experiences ambition, betrayal, secrecy, money, fame, hot beautiful women and sex. Premise In early 2010, writer/producer/director Julius Roden set a meeting with independent film artists Jude Faith and Chris Lucas. The intention was to create a boy band, but the focus soon shifted to the creation of a new television series. Roden thought about making a television movie about five bachelors with different careers, inspired by the early 1990s hit Filipino sitcom ''Palibhasa Lalake''. However, the producer thought it would be better to create an extended television series rather than a single movie. ''Palibhasa Lalake'' is a Philippine sitcom on ABS-CBN which ran from March 3, 1987, to November 9, 1998, and directed by Johnny Manahan. Sypnopsis The show began on March 3, 1987, with the original cast composed of Joey Marquez, Richard Gomez, Miguel Rodriguez, Gloria Romero, Cynthia Patag, and Amy Perez. Hosted by Cesar Montano and Marvin Agustin in cooperation with the Asian Academy of Television Arts (AATA), it premiered on July 30, 2012. The show aims to find new talented actors and actresses, with worth of prizes and an artist management contract at stake. The show had its one-time Grand Audition at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on June 19, 2012 for all aspirants between 16 and 22 years old.
