Julio Llorente Gento (born 14 June 1966) is a Spanish former professional Association football, footballer who played mainly as a right-back. Club career Born in Valladolid, Castile and León, Llorente finished his development with La Liga giants Real Madrid CF, Real Madrid, making his debut in the competition in the 1987–88 La Liga, 1987–88 season with fellow league club RCD Mallorca, on loan. He returned to the Spanish capital upon his team's relegation, going on to play 33 competitive games during his two-year tenure and win five major titles, including two consecutive national championships. He appeared in six UEFA Champions League, European Cup matches with the ''Merengues'', scoring in a 6–0 home win against CA Spora Luxembourg in the 1989–90 European Cup, 1989–90 edition. Valladolid () is a Municipalities of Spain, municipality in Spain and the primary seat of government and de facto capital of the Autonomous communities of Spain, autonomous community of Castile and León. The foundation aims to build an exhaustive archive of football-related information from around the world. Paco Llorente
Francisco "Paco" Llorente Gento (born 21 May 1965) is a Spanish retired footballer who played mostly as a right winger. He amassed La Liga totals of 207 games and 11 goals over the course of 13 seasons, with Atlético Madrid, Real Madrid and Compostela. Club career Llorente was born in Valladolid, Castile and León. After a brief youth passage at Real Madrid he signed with neighbours Atlético Madrid, being fairly used over two seasons. In 1987, after displays of speed and skills, he re-joined Real. Francisco "Paco" Gento López (21 October 1933 – 18 January 2022) was a Spanish footballer who played as an outside left. He was voted by IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics) as the greatest Spanish footballer and 30th greatest world footballer of the 20th century. Gento began his career at Racing Santander in 1952 and moved to Real Madrid the following season. He appeared in a joint record eight European Cup finals, winning a record six, as well as winning a record 12 La Liga titles. In a 14-year international career, Gento earned 43 caps for Spain, playing at the World Cup in 1962 and 1966.
